I doubt it. I've had wonderful results from Pioneer and Sony electronics...lasted for years.... and I'm sure they were not made in the USA.

A lot of American companies manufacture their products around the world while still making them here in the US.

Heck, plenty of companies from around the world manufacture in the US for our consumption too. My Honda was made in the USA at the plant in Marysville, OH. My husband's father, who lives in Ohio, has had freelance contracts as an electrician at the plant for the past 10 years or so. We live in NC.

Kinda awesome when you think about it.

All kinds of munitions, rockets, and other incendiary devices are made in the U.S., as well as the delivery systems to deploy them. In fact, when record numbers of jobs are being lost never to return, the military industrial complex is thriving.

Be careful!

Some corporations, like Ralph Lauren, may legally say "Made in the U.S." but are made in the sweatshops of the Mariana Islands, a protectorate of the US. Corporate corruption right on schedule.

Given that I hate china more than almost anything else on this planet, I would love to initiate a pressure/PR effort to force US companies to stop manufacturing anything there. They can make their product anywhere else, I don't care - just not in China.

Most John Deere and Caterpillar tractors. Some are made in Mexico and my son, the mechanic, says the Mexicans are making some good ones to work on.

I am wearing the first and last New Balance shoes I will ever buy. They started ripping out on one and then the other. Nope I don't ever want any more of them. I prefer Adidas for comfort and long wearing.
