It's propaganda to keep us divided.

Do any of you see a recovery anytime soon..truly ?
If our economic situation gets worse there could be civil unrest if government services stop, slowdown or become sparsely manned. The possiblility is there more today than let's say 5 years ago.

America is undergoing a change and not one for the better as our standard of living declines.
Many will not take it sitting down if you know what I mean.

We're going into depression and anyone that can't see that doesn't see the writing on the wall. This collapse was banker engineered but it's actually starting to blow up in their faces since they over leveraged themselves by creating $1.5 quadrillion out of thin air in digital money fraudulently. If we default on the debt and say we're not paying one stinkin' dime then the bankers will go bankrupt and stay that way for generations

But isn't that the very platform Obama campaigned in 2008? Didn't he want to fundamentally transform this great country? And the left is upset because he is finally keeping a campaign promise.

Just like the Great Depression was only this time we're printing money to cover it up but it can't last.

Absolutely correct!

It is obvious what is going on at the Federal level and it is obvious why the gubment is ramping up w/ the "terrorist" message.

America is never gonna recover the "lost" jobs that have been appropriated to China. So yes, "it is the Global economy, stupid." Anyway, that is what I am seeing.

We no longer have a shipbuilding industry; no more textile mills; few furniture factories; and the nation's farmers have decreased dramatically over the last 20 years (88% are no longer in business, if I remember my stats correctly - that can be verified - I didn't just pull it out of thin air - for those who want to argue, lol)

So . . . that means that the gubment keeps getting bigger and creating jobs, so that we all end up working on some level - for the gubment - w/ the exception of some service jobs. Even healthcare, wh/ is dependent on gubment $$ (Medicaid, Medicare) is essentially regulated and stays operational due to gubment $$$.

Even such corps as pharma are tied into the Feds thru NIH, receiving subsidies and grants . . .

And many young people are opting for military service b/c they can't find a job. I include college grads here . . .

Folks are becoming more and more dependent on subsidies - whether for rent, food, healthcare . . . as large chunks of the population are now in salary brackets that qualify them as "poverty level."

In a few years, when it becomes obvious that this country is never gonna "get back to work" unless it is through some gubment plan (and as employees of the Federal government) maybe people will come to realize what is really going on in this country.

It is not merely a move to shift wealth . . . and we are not moving towards socialism. As more businesses (and banks, perhaps?) become nationalized, maybe someone will wake up and realize that the system of gubment we are moving towards is NOT socialism . . . it is communism.

I am not a right wing nutball . . . I am just a concerned citizen wondering how we will ever pull ourselves out of this economic mess.

I think the only way we can pull this country together is by individuals starting their own businesses, bartering, working together at the local level to create local economies. We have to go back to our roots of self-reliance and revive that "pioneer spirit" which founded this country.

If we don't . . . I think there will be no recourse but lapse into a way of life that is totally dependent on the Feds for EVERYTHING. They already have their fingers (through regulations) in everything from education to healthcare to housing.

The people who are making a big deal about most of the "terrorists" being white (what are there - like seven total?) and most of the "informants" being minorities seem to be the ones with the problems IMO. Nobody really thinks that white men are the most likely to be terrorists, although there are some (from abortion clinic bombers and neo-Nazis on the right to eco-terror groups on the left) that are. Besides, most of the "law enforcement" and regular people in the video were white as well.

I think that those who are complaining about white people being cast as "terrorists" and minorities as "informants" are being racist. The not really as thinly veiled statement as you might think behind this is that white people are "truly American" and minorities are "other," and showing something the other way around is bending to political correctness run amok.

I watched the video - it's pretty silly like most of these kinds of things, but it's about reporting suspicious activity. Otherwise, we'll get the idea that we should kick otherwise totally non-threatening people off of planes because they appear Muslim.
Oh really!!! If every terrorist depicted in the video was of any other racial/ethnic group ie all were Arab, all were black, all were, Asian, all were hispanic and all the people in depicted in the video reporting them to the authorities were all white, I GUARANTEE PEOPLE WOULD BE SCREAMING RACISM!

In fact I'm sure you would be one of the people screaming the loudest. Btw I don't care if you're white, all that means is your one of those self loathing white guilt types. But in your own twisted logic, if whites try to defend themselves against something that is clearly racist, they themselves are racist for even mentioning it.

Pathetic really.
The thread is about WHITE PEOPLE BEING TERRORIST.

The two people in my last post are White and are in fact affilated with Al-Qaeda. How many followers they have is purely a matter of conjuncture unless you have intimate knowledge of their organization and associates. The point is THEY ARE PART OF A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.

If this thread has proved nothing else is that White people can be Islamist terrorists, eco-terrorist, anti-government terrotist, religious terrorist, right wing terrorist, left wing terrorist, and white supremacy terrorist.

Having covered such a broad spectrum of areas that incite people to get involved and at the very least advocate or incite terrorist activity the DHS woiuld be well advise to keep any eye on ANYBODY that espouses terrorism as a means to any political, social or economic goal.

I have no problem wiith acknolwledging that Osama Bin Laden as part of the muhajadeen was assisted by the CIA in Afghanistan back in the 1970's and 1980's when the Russians invaded that country.

So what's you point?

Great post! There is good reason why I spend a portion of my precious little free time reading C-D... It does my heart good to find the other independent, lucid thinkers out there who can connect the dots and see the 'one' agenda that has been run by both parties for decades (both parties being like a bunch of big time wrestlers pretending to do battle for theater but are really on the same payroll......most people have that part figured out, right? ).
The agenda certainly hasn't been to make us a more free and prosperous nation, I would hope most rational people could at least agree on that. How can people not see that government is the disease masquerading as the cure in almost every instance is beyond me, but hey, that kinda leads right back to my original point doesn't it.
