That's true. So, could you please explain again why you should get more of MY money?
If I spend it, you hit me with taxes, if I save it, you hit with taxes. Heck, it seems the only way to keep any of it is to move it offshore. Too bad for you, eh? Now you get nothing, not even a cookie.
So you are exactly the kind of person our President is calling out for taking advantage of the loopholes in our tax code to avoid paying your fair share.

What is the definition of fair share? What % is fair? Why should I pay for someone elses bills? I know I pay my fair share for what services I use, especially when 40% of Americnas don't pay income taxes..
...If you want to, go right ahead and write a check to Uncle Sam. I would be fine with reducing tax breaks, as long as overall % went down....
Yes, actually. Until a few years ago, I owned a 1200 sq. ft. house that cost that much. Bay area, baby!
No one ever believes you when you tell them how expensive houses are here. They go onto the various Real Estate sites and see houses that look ok for $200-300K or less but don't realize that you really really really don't want to live there.
Actually it does cost more.
The "rich" buy bigger and more than one, usually several cars which means they buy a lot more gas.
They have bigger and sometimes more than 1 house meaning they pay a whole lot more in electricity and insurance on those houses.
They have more cars and boats and RV's etc., all of which need insurance and use a lot of gas.
Health insurance would probably be about the same except they probably pay more for the higher options in their plan and for the real poor who don't pay for health insurance.
Your perception is not based on reality.
Yes, the rich probably do spend more on gas - but they pay the same amount per unit for it.
If I made 250 thousand ,I would not want to pay more in taxes ,just because I earn more.
