Obama pretending he is from the Deep South "Well boys it is time to pi$$ on the fire, and call in the dogs. This coon hunt is over."

No more entitlements for illegal aliens to attend school.

God bless the Tea Party and Sarah Palin

I started college in the mid 90s, so it hasn't been that long since I was in college.
I started on partial athletic scholarship and got hurt my freshman year. I got different scholarships off and on through college, and ended up with a full scholarship my last year for being SGA Pres. And I still worked, even when I had a full scholarship, a full classlaod, and huge responsibilities at school.

My husband is a better example though. It took him 6 years to finish because he took 2 semesters off to co-op to pay his expenses. He also worked during the school year and summers. He started in the early 90s and we both graduated in the late 90s.

Also, neither one of us worked minimum wage jobs. We both acquired skill sets so we could make more money. I made $20+ an hour in college. No one says you have to work a minimum wage job in college.

Few people have a "skill set" to make $20/hr. at age 18-19.

Ahh yes...Sarah Palin, the poster girl for the "I can't name what I read" crowd.

We already realize that educating America's youth means dip **** to them.

BTW...Pell Grants are only given to eligible U.S. Citizens and permanent residents.

The Tea Party wants a balanced budget amendment. Are you against this?

Illegal aliens are not America's youth.

The best way to stay poor would be to get a college loan. Endentured servant to the government for the next 30 years to pay for most of which are worthless degrees.

Honesly, you post is completely meaningless UNLESS you follow up with details, details of what you actually had going for you instead of what you didn't have going for you. And I'm not talking about moxie and work ethic. There is always more to the story than people like to tell when they chastise others.
you mean like i worked two minimum wage jobs? i would driver 9 miles to the first job, then go to school across town ten miles away and go to school in the evening, then go back across town ten miles and work my night job? i wasnt rich, so i had to pay my own way. i did what needed to be done to get an education that would help me later in life. as for running around in the snow, the snow level in tucson is around 45,000ftasl, and by the time it gets to the ground it has already evaporated and blown away in what passes for a breeze here.

The debt ceiling and balancing the budget are two separate issues. What does this have to do with defunding education? We are already being surpassed worlwide in that area. You cannot compete in the global market without educating the youth.

Why do you blame republicans? Dems are just as at fault if the government defaults. If any other board of directors ran a business the way congress operates, they would be indited in no time.

Obviously your WIFE doesn't go to law school, there is NO time for work when your a law student.

Things aren't always as black and white as people make them out to be.
