Just add another pile of red tape to cut through. When will this stop? Never. I've seen many greenies love the idea of nat gas this and that but then turn around and try and slow down or stop the production. All insane.

“By 2020 we could produce as much oil and natural gas in the West as we currently import from Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Algeria and Nigeria combined,” she said, but “we’re adding more regulation and slowing the development of American energy, preventing us from reaching our full potential and creating jobs and economic development across the West.”[LEFT]

I could never understand why creationists aren't more concerned with saving endangered species. After all those "weeds" were given to us by God Himself and for us to kill them off just to make money is kind of like throwing His gift back in His face

I am not crying over less drilling- would rather have the wildlife than the oil or gas-would love to see oil and gas production become so expensive that people are FORCED to find alternatives- take away all of the subsidies to oil and gas industries and see how long we would stick with these alternatives over other alternatives-

I'll take the wildflowers over a temporary bandaid on our energy problems.

I would too.
And I live here.
And I have a job that works closely with this O & G development.

I guess nobody here washes their hair or mows their grass because petroleum is used in shampoo and well grass was given to us by the creator. How are you folks even on a computer? How many weeds were dug to run that fiber all over the country?

From what I can tell, after having grown up with a whole lot of religion, worshipers of the Bible don't often make sense.

There are better solutions than this, for Pete's sake. No reason to overreact.

The total number of jobs "destroyed or prevented" in the domestic energy exploration and production industry already runs into the hundreds of thousands, not to mention the indirect effects of higher energy costs. People are waking up to the fact that sometimes in order to move forward, you have to quit going backward.

I think this has a lot to do with Mr. Obama's low and declining approval ratings and the slowest economic recovery in US history. All we need to do is allow our companies to get to work and stop destroying jobs and economic activity.
