He goes on to say that people who refer to themselves as African American are "ridiculously stupid"

LOL! I agree with Glenn Beck that it is ridiculous for blacks born and raised in the United States to call themselves African Americans. Can you find an exact quote from Glenn Beck where he says that he wants to bring back the word "colored"? Of course you can't.

Perhaps this is why Beck doesn't have many "coloreds" attending his rallies.

Glenn Beck is a drug user and megalomaniac. He is completely ignorant and is very sensationalistic. He has the logic capabilities of a 14 year old teenage cheerleader. In summation, this man has no capability.

Also, how absolutely arrogant is he to assume he has the right to tell a whole ethnic group how to refer to themselves. This guy is a complete brickhead.

You know a guy like him is fighting tooth and nail for media attention when he starts in with this kind of nonsense.

X2.. Unless you were born in Africa, and are now living in America.. you aren't African American.

I don't know if he really said that, but if he did, so what? What is so egregious about it? I agree with him anyway. "African American" is just a term that evolved as a poor attempt to disassociate from previous terms that had developed negative connotations. In time, "African American" will have to be replaced too. As for "colored," give me a break. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE in meaning between "colored" and "people of color," the latter being used regularly by blacks.
