Maybe many people bashing it hate it because it shows them the future of the entire country 20 years down the road, for instance in terms of demographics, mindset, etc.
Success?

Lets see, you are a foreigner living in Germany, I lived there (CA) for over 30 years. You are full of it and have absolutely NO clue of what you are talking about.

Charming and friendly as always

Maybe you did not like the kind of success California has had for decades because of your own attitudes
California has been tremendously successful, which is why millions from all over the US and abroad have moved there, to be part of it. Unfortunately that demand drove up prices to ridiculous levels...

The people I know living in California are all doing pretty well. I've lived in other states (and countries, for that matter) and I love this state . If you don't like it, you can alway move. More room for me!

I thought we all moved to Colorado, or maybe that's just us transplants!

Typical socialist tripe. You remove liberties, institute draconian laws and policies, dictate your self interest, disregard freedom of choice and then, if people object, well... you tell them they don't see the benefit because their attitudes are poor.

Again, you have no idea what you are talking about.

That is what I saw. I didn't agree with everything he did, but he did attempt to be fiscally responsible and fix the budget issues.

The democrats have had the state for so long that all of the districts are gimmicks to keep them in office. The state will have to hit rock bottom before anything will change. They have extremely incompetent and corrupt representatives.

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them.

This quote came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out.

Quote:
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

I do all those things? Wow, I didn't know I had that much power

I didn't say your attitudes were poor. Your attitudes are just not very compatible with California, that's all I am saying...
If someone told me how successful Texas or Oklahoma are, I would not really be thrilled, either, because I would not be compatible with those states. But that would not mean they are not successful.

Who the hell are you to make such a determination? The arrogance in your comments are astounding. here you are a citizen of another country, tell me, who is a US citizen, who grew up in the state, lived there most of my life, worked, went to school, etc... that my "attitude" is not very compatible with California?

Again, you have no clue of what you are talking about. Typical euro-trash language you push.

I refuse to consider any quote completely divorced from context and attributed to an anonymous Czech. Would you please cite the source?
