Well of course there are any number of sources for the explanation, Popular Mechanics, for one. But of course you aren't interested in this, you want to try and prove you are smarter than the experts.

It will for unquestioning minds like yours. And that explanation might have merit, but it does not end the argument. The motive is still there, plenty of other buildings (around the world) have suffered far worse and not collapsed, and the ability of neoconservatives to get their operatives in place over a 12 hour window and plant thermite is also possible.

The only folks who do not believe the overwhelming evidence presented around these events are either such strong partisans or nuts.
It seems exceedingly strange that a steel structure would collapse, straight down, after being on fire for several hours.

Really? What are your credentials regarding controlled demolitions and does the FBI know where you are at all times?
Did you know when jet fuel explodes it gets hot kind of like a sun and melts everything?
There have been a lot of shows with structural engineers explaining that what happened between the two plane crashes would certainly have caused the results we got.
