3. It is unclear that CO2 causes a significant impact on global temperatures. In fact, water vapor is the principle "green house gas".
4. If there is a contribution from CO2 emissions (which appears to be minor), there are other factors which contribute to a far greater extent to changes in global temperature.
5. If we presume that there is an effect of CO2 on temperature, it is unclear as to whether anything from a global standpoint can be done, i.e. efforts in the US can be eliminated by counter efforts in other areas of the world.
6. "Remedies" to counter act "global warming" have been unproven and may be dangerous to the environment.
7. The "science" regarding global warming has been propagated through poorly peer reviewed reports and conferences, leading the public to believe that the concept has undergone rigorous scientific scrutiny and peer review.
8. The concept has been politicized and data has been altered to achieve a political agenda. The "green movement" has promoted and culled the concept of man made global warming to achieve a political agenda, regardless of what the science shows. This agenda is contrary to the best interests and economic health of the US, and is therefore opposed.
