What is really the issue?

Is it that some Republicans can't stand the concept of Democrats being wealthy?

Is it the hatred that some Republicans have for a grandmother of six who is successful, wealthy, has a squeaky clean personal life and is NOT a Republican?

Ummmmmmm............................ perhaps because they don't have relatives who have benefitted financially from ill concieved "loans" that were politically motivated.

Perhaps that is it.

So, does one bad deed by another mean that all is fair then? I can't speak for the right, as I do not represent the entire "right". I do think that Halliburton and other companies have unjustly benefitted from sole source contracts. They should have been put out as an RFP, as this was neither unique or innately inherent work to this particular company. I believe they pushed those contracts through as sole source due to the emergent requirement but that did not mean those contracts should have earned follow on sole source awards. So, there's the opinion of at least one person from the right.

How about the issue of Democrat's relatives getting rich on the taxpayers' dollars. And the fact that this 700+ Million Dollars is being given to another "green" company on the heels of the $500+Million Dollars the administration just gave and lost, knowingly to the bankrupt green company, Solyrno, who just happened to have donated large amounts of $ to O's campaign.

I guess some people believe the path to getting wealthy is paved with OTHER PEOPLES' MONEY. THAT is the issue.

Not to mention, if anyone can see to it that they benefit from cronyism, when they spent 5 trillion in deficit spending, it would be the person who was speaker of the house for four years.

Clinton gave Haliburton those same contracts, and 0bama is continuing them! So go on and tell me how two democrat presidents doing the same thing is ignored by you, but one republican president doing the same thing, as the other two, is a conspiracy on his part.

It is unbelievable that some of you are still sniping at each other over the wealth of a bunch of opportunist! The average congressman/senator makes well over 250,000yr, not including whatever the lobbyist gives them under the table. What makes any of you think that ANY of them is looking out for your best interest? Have any of you noticed that the physicians lobbyist lean to one party and the lawyers lean towards the opposite one? They all are feeding off of the tete of the american poeple

Sickening really. Democrats can't stand the thought of anyone being wealthy, except the chosen few.

Pelosi is nothing more than a partisan hack who has sold her soul to the devil. The queen of "I've got mine. Now I'm going to figure out a way to get your's too."

What do you mean "NOW"? Look through my history and you'll see plenty of posts about the Obama recession/people out of work/growing poverty et al.
