I always walk off into "left-field" when having a smoke. I don't even stand next to other smokers.
I don't toss butts on the ground. I field-strip, and toss the butt safely in the trash.
More people should be that way! Unfortunately it seems consideration for others is a lost virture in many people.

Some people have too much time on their hands. Her telling you that is just as assinine as putting warnings and pictures of cancerous lungs on cigarette packs. Smokers may have picked up a bad habit, but it doesn't make them stupid and oblivious to reality.

I think smoking is maligned unfairly. It's the current evil of society. I wish people wouldn't be so hypocritical about cigarette smoke & their own health.

Oh yeah, the little fact that filtharette smokers spew their filth and throw butts everywhere makes it a problem for everyone.

Agreed.
Smokers should be able to have their own bars and businesses that will cater to them. There would still be bars and similar businesses that catered to nonsmokers. Smokers are more demonized than gangbangers or banksters in today's society. It's sick.
Yes, I must've missed the part where cigarette smokers are being imprisoned for their habit.
Cigarette smokers aren't being imprisoned but are most certainly being threatened with fines if they smoke anywhere in public, even in a private business where the owner would be willing to allow it if he/she could.
