sounds like a bunch of bs. I think they are overreacting. I want to know how the situation got started. Did the bus driver provoke them? The bus drivers are just trying to get more money by saying bus driving is dangerous. yea sure.
You sound like someone who has never lived in a town like Detroit. Most likely the kids got on and refused to pay or otherwise decided to cause ruckus, the driver tried to do their job by telling the kids they had to get off the bus, and rather than talk smack or get off like they would've in the old days, the kids beat the driver senseless.
It's better to tear down the ghettos and price the dirtbags out of the neighborhood by building non-affordable housing.
But then where do these people go? It might be better to build a very high fence around them, let the good people out and just let the thugs have at it.

would you want to drive a bus with the people who are murderers and gang bangers.
Oh, and they should throw on a 5% city wage tax too.
