I really do not understand these "new" republicans, many of them vote against their own best interest mainly because of the misinformation given to them from rush, beck and faux in general. some of them because of racial hatred of a black president. The well off and down right wealthy use this information and pay the talking heads to spread lies and mistruths regarding people who disagree with them. An example of this would be that the President is responsible for the budget failure, when in fact the Congress is responsible for budget matters for the country. To top this off because of the Norquist deal many key republicans made 18 years ago not to raise taxes under any conditions has made any compromise regarding raising revenue through increased taxes all but impossible.

Sadly, anyone with any ability to think on their own realizes that in order to balance any budget you have to cut spending and increase revenue at some point otherwise it will not work......thus lies the deadlock in Washington
