I don't believe that porn stars are pure as the driven snow. I believe that the porn business is a dirty business with a lot of STDs floating around. Others obviously disagree.

Highly unlikely. The photo ID requirements are strict. If a valid, American ID is not on file, the producer can end up in jail for years.
De facto prohibition will just drive the business underground and thus it'll be more likely that illegals will be hired. Virtually no one who hires illegal aliens goes to jail for years, so why would porn producers? The laws may be on the books but they're not enforced.

Because if a porn producer can't prove that one of his actors is at least 18 years old, he risks going to jail for years. It has happened. I'm very familiar with the adult entertainment world, and I don't know anybody who flaunts the law when it comes to age verification.
Most hot women in porn are doing it because they enjoy having sex and are not getting enough sex and/or the kind of sex they want in there everyday lives and get into porn because they can have it there and get paid for it too. Although the money from porn itself is not that much for women in porn to do it past the first two years, but in many cases it enables them to increase the amount of money they make when they go on tours to strip clubs across the country. There are porn stars like Teagan Presley that make far more money stripping than they do in porn, but doing porn facilitates the income from stripping. She can clear $3k a night stripping in a major city, with is $12k a week only working four nights a week.
Most of the hot women in porn would ultimately have to have sex to get money and the things they want anyway. Seriously if a porn chick was working some $15 an hour job out in the world, she would eventually have to find some guy with money ("boyfriend" or eventually a "husband") and have sex with him to secure the money and / or lifestyle she wanted anyway. At least in porn, as a career actress they can have control over their lives and enjoy the sex they are having rather than having to surrender their personnal autonomy over to just one guy and wear a ring on their finger to get what they want in life.
The whole mandatory condom thing is ridiculous. Using the logic of the people that voted on it at the city council - it would also mean that a chick would have to cover her head with Saran Wrap before getting a facial, and seriously, how is a porn actress going to do ATM if the guy is wearing a condom? There are alot of unresolved questions pertaining to the law, and if a guy is doing a scene with two actresses, does that mean he has to change the condom in between banging both of them?

01 gets paid to have sex with a guy (or guys) in a video: and in most cases enjoys sex enough to enjoy the scene. Makes $1,000-2,000 a scene.
02 becomes popular enough to go on stripping tours as a featured stripper and clears over $6k in two days for Fri/Sat night appearances.
03 is financially independent, has her own house, a nice car and money in the bank - and answers to no man in a relationship
04 gets to have sex with alot of guys, and in ways she wants and gets off harder, longer and better than most women
II. Woman that is married
01 husband makes the mortgage payment (eventually paying the house off before he dies) Average value of the house $300,000
02 wife also gets $500k in life insurance after her beloved husband passes away
03 . . . as well as other assets: bank accounts, 401k, IRA, stocks, etc and part of the husbands pension
04 although has to have sex with him for over two decades, deal with his issues and sacrifice her life goals and aspirations to what
eventually becomes a balding, slightly overweight and erectile dysfunctional provider of money and resources.

I'm very aware that porn producers have gone to jail for not proving that porn actors are over 18.
I've never heard of porn producers going to jail for not confirming whether porn actors are in the US legally.
