Because they already do. Most Christians don't act Christian. Hence the high divorce, adultery, fornication, greed, obesity, crime, etc. rates among Christians in this country. All of which go largely ignored. Gays, however, are the big evil they all are worried about.

An obese Christian multi-millionaire with his 3rd wife enjoying a meal at a Seafood restaurant while criticizing the "Gay Agenda" = Get that enormous plank out of your eye you hypocrite!

I worked on a project with serveral gay men for nearly a year, I currently have two different gay couples that live within 5 houses of mine, and I have NEVER had any of these people "force feed" me info about their sex lives. Ever.

In fact, I find they go out of their way to NOT bring it up or make an issue of it, even though they know I have no problem with homosexuals.

Where do you live?

You are free to believe that horse**** all you like.

You are not free to legislate that opinion into law where giving them their rights has no effect on yours at all, period.

Many gays are Christian. Failed logic. Fundamentalists are not your typical Christian, anymore than Extremist, Jihadist Muslims are your typical Muslim.

The divorce rate according to the CDC is 41%. The divorce rates are not skyrocketing, they were back in the 1960s and 1970s however. But they've flattened out now and have even dipped some. I think the marriages formed in the 1970s and 1980s had the greatest % of marriages to end in divorce, while the ones formed in the 1990s and 2000s were more likely to stay together when comparing 1 year, 5 years, 10 years and so on since the wedding date.

But even secular and late marrying Denmark and Sweden have very high divorce ratios.

But they sure do want you to think they are mainstream, and desperately want to believe it themselves.

I know you like pretending that as a defense mechanism to what I can only presume is internalized homophobia, but every medical organization on the planet disagrees with you. There is no treatment for sexual orientation.

RWNJs feel it is their duty to control the masses. They have no answers on economy or problem solving, so they create diversions and hatred.

lol and they wonder why the death knell for tea party culminated at the Tucson AZ shooting. Their divisiveness is destructive and violent.

Plus Newt needs to clean up his own act and shut up about anything regarding sexual issues. he is a disgusting hypocrite.
