I've already gotten that sanrene. The Obama apologist crowd are quick to try and justify and defend everything he does..even when it involves broken promises..I don't see them as leftists though, in truth they're anything but..

What a loser, this is just another path down the wrong direction. People think taking away the 2nd Amendment is the biggest threat to freedom, it's not. It's taking about the 4th Amendment, and then the 5th and 6th. This way, the government knows who everyone is, they can search anyone, track them, arrest them, and subvert opposition. If you try to take away guns from 100 million people you have a problem, but if you quietly lock up and get rid of their leadership then you don't. My 2 cents away.

When fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in an American Flag and dressed in a "security" uniform

I know you have. I can attest to the fact you were one of obama's biggest supporters. I disagree with you quite a bit on the issues, but you and a few others (Pad) are at least HONEST in your disapproval of the man now, for good reason. In fact, he has gone far beyond what Bush ever did in this area. At least you acknowledge these things are wrong and NOT at all what he promised.

I can respect that quite a bit.

This doesn't say anything about how any future POTUS might interpret or use this law, and that's the scary part.

Neither did Bush and nobody on the right cared, in spite of people like me warning them that they might not want future president's having that kind of power. Power tends to accumulate in one spot and when powers like this are granted to an executive, they don't go away. They only expand.

I'm really disappointed in Obama. This is not what I expected of him.

For sure. Those on the left do not like big government, big brother, police state policies. This is why I get a good laugh at those on the right that think Obama is some kind of far left "marxist" "communist" "socialist" or other catch word of the week. He's a center/right republican.

Isn't that just par for the course when it comes to American politics?
