So many people who were just brainwashed by the MSM. I am not a big supporter of the War in Iraq but at the same time we were there due to 16 violations of the UN sanctions against Iraq.
That is a small sample of why. All of the intelligence that was given to the Bush Administration was also given to the Clinton Administration and both said that there were WMDs there. So the left can try to blame Bush all they want or make this about WMD. This was about following up on the UN violations.
I don't like when people have to die but we did remove a evil dictator form the world who was known to harbor terrorists there.
Sometimes you just need to do what you need to do. If a guy moves into your neighborhood and he speeds up and down the street, throws loud parties and deals drugs out of his house, do you just sit back and let him do that? Sometimes you need to stand up for what is right.
As far as people moving out of America, go, please, we beg you to do so. DD and whomever else thinks it is better in China, please go over there as quickly as possible so you can live the Chinese dream of human rights violations, low wages and the lifestyle of a peasant. You can spread your wealth over there as much as possible and we won't be bothered with your hate over here.
The Clinton Administration didn't invade, and therein lies the difference. You can't attribute 4500 American deaths in Iraq to Clinton for a useless war.
And i don't care about removing a brutal dictator. Wanna go into the dictator removal business? Fine. Then say so. But don't use non-existent WMD's as a justification for doing so.
Besides, what terrorists was he harboring? A terrorist so significant that we needed to lose 4500 people to get him? Was it a terrorist that participated in 9/11? Nope.
"The New York Times described in its obituary how Saddam "murdered as many as a million of his people, many with poison gas. He tortured, maimed and imprisoned countless more. His unprovoked invasion of Iran is estimated to have left another million people dead. His seizure of Kuwait threw the Middle East into crisis. More insidious, arguably, was the psychological damage he inflicted on his own land. Hussein created a nation of informants — friends on friends, circles within circles — making an entire population complicit in his rule".[28]Others have estimated 800,000 deaths caused by Saddam not counting the Iran-Iraq war.[29]Estimates as to the number of Iraqis executed by Saddam's regime vary from 300–500,000[30] to over 600,000,[31] estimates as to the number of Kurds he massacred vary from 70,000 to 300,000,[32] and estimates as to the number killed in the put-down of the 1991 rebellion vary from 60,000[33] to 200,000.[31] Estimates for the number of dead in the Iran-Iraq war range upwards from 300,00."

No fly zone took care of the Kurds without a full scale invasion. Besides, we aren't in the people saving business.
So then, are you saying that we went into Iraq to save lives and that the WMD thing was just a lie?
What you "accuse" me of saying is no where near what I DID say.
Nice try at deflection and making uneducated assumptions.
