It seems like most Democrat progressive liberals hate America. Why is that?
Is it just to be different from the majority of Americans who are evil, bad, white, religious, conservatives? Is it because of their own inherent failures to succeed in the country of opportunity?
Is it Groupthink? An inability to reason since liberalism is a mental disorder?
It's very weird considering that most Democrats are trying to turn the exceptionalism of America into Euro-lite, even though many of them have never lived in or experienced Europe for any extended period, let alone visit on a few days' vacation time.
Why do they despise the country their families immigrated to and they were born into?
Conservatives overwhelmingly believe that the United States is the last best hope. However, by a 43% to 29% margin, liberals disagree.
Just 31% of those in the Political Class see the United States in such positive terms (see more on the Political Class), compared to 58% of Mainstream voters.
Polling released earlier shows that only 45% of Political Class voters believe the United States is a more positive force in the world than the United Nations. Seventy-nine percent (79%) of Mainstream voters see America as a more positive force.
I think we can stop these posts now. Conservatives and liberals both love their country. They simple come at the solutions to our problems in different ways.
They are simply more willing to criticize the bad things in American society then simply being an azz-kissing toady or "yes-man" that the military-industrial complex would like to indoctrinate everyone as...

Do you know what an "analogy" is?
If you do, this may help you to erase your obvious misconception.
Conservatives love America like a five year old loves his mother. Everything she does is right and no one better say anything that disturbs that vision.
Liberals love America like one loves a spouse. If the spouse is struggling or has made a wrong move, you try to persuade him/her to correct their behavior.
In both cases, there's plenty of love. The approach is different.
The one point, more than anything else that annoys me that any other, is the implication or isinuation that people who are liberal are unpatriotic and bent on the destruction of this fine republic.
How anybody can jump to this absurd and foolish conclusion is beyond logic----I guessthat is why they indeed jump to that conclusion----their clarity and vision is blocked by tainted idelogy.
And I find your saying that conclusion to be absurd and foolish is what is beyond logic.
Obama just made a statement about the healthcare law being a duly contituted and passed law and the court not overturning it. This is after he publicly declared that he found DOMA to be unconstitutional and would no longer be enforcing it.
When the Democrats didn't have the votes to pass healthcare, they used the budget reconciliation rule to enact it anyway. Then in Wisconsin when they didn't have the votes to block restrictions on unions, they just left the state so no vote could be held at all.
When the courts declared that Obama couldn't unilaterally stop drilling in the Gulf by fiat, he simply had the EPA deny all permits to drill there.
Obama told the governor of Arizona point blank that he had no intention of stopping illegal immigration into her state, and had his DoJ sue when her state tried to do it on their own.
When Texas wasn't going to allocate womens' healthcare funds the way the Obama administration wanted them to, they just witheld all the money and denied the women any healthcare at all.
Obama's legal team argues the individual mandate is simultaneously a tax and not a tax at the same time.
Obama attacked Libya without congressional approval after he himself released a statement saying that was illegal during Bush's administration then had his Sec of Defense tell Congress they were prepared to do it again in Syria
And you're going to sit there and say it's "absurd" to think that liberals don't respect the Republic?

No, I don't believe liberals do love the country. I believe the Blue Dog Democrats of the past loved the country. Today's Progressive liberals? Not so much. I believe they love a mythical socialist state that they are trying to turn the country into. The actual country, as set forth in the constitution, I see very little evidence of them respecting or loving.

That's because unlike many conservatives, liberals realize that the year is 2012, not 1790.

I don't agree with that at all.
Conservatives love the USA as it was founded and carreied from infant country to world's superpower.
Liberals, OTOH, hate that America. What they love, and are attempting, with some sucess, to transform Americia into a country they can Love.

Those are not synonyms... You lump them altogether, though. Your entire rant is full of stereotypes and odd views. People like you are one of the reasons others look down on conservatism.
Anyway, your statistics just show that some people are more realistic than others...

Feel better now you've got that off your chest?

1) Yes, atheist here.
2) It is just a document and thus needs to be updated and if necessary corrected regularly.
