Our soldiers had nothing to gain by doing and broadcasting such a classless act. They did lose their dignity and self-respect which is the only thing that one can walk away from a battlefield with.
We can shut our mouths but they still lost our respect.
Maybe your respect but they have not lost mine and never will. I love them and will stand behind them no matter what. Semper Fi
People that are killed in a conflict do not deserve to be urinated on-----whether they be enemy, terrorist, or spies------war is an emotional and frightening event----yet,sorry, we are better than this-----we are suppossed to be the model and shining light for civility in the world.
Yes these people who have been slain may have been brutal----but to urinate on them---we are better than this.
Unfortunately, the military has difficulty recruiting folks with your mindset in mass. The military also desensitizes recruits and trains them to kill. Looks like these young men accomplished that goal. Sorry, when your job is to kill people, urinating on a dead body probably doesn't seem all that much more uncivilized.
People will try to demonize these marines. But few people can understand the adrenalin needed to survive when the goal of the enemy is to kill you. When you realize they failed their mission and you remained alive the shot of adrenalin might make you act in a way that you would not act while winning and tidily winks. Apologies to those too young to know how to play tidily winks
You can shoot them and/or blow them to bits, but to p**s on them is verboten.
Because that act is degrading to the soldiers themselves! We want to respect our soldiers for their acts of heroism. Posting a video of themselves urinating sure makes it difficult to feel respect or pride for them.
Tea party leader doesn't CAIR about marines urinating on dead Afghans
Is anyone really surprised.
"Outrage over the U.S. Marines video of soldiers desecrating the bodies of dead Afghans has been further stirred by the controversial words of Tea Party leader Pamela Geller: "I don't care," she wrote recently."
Quote:
So let me be perfectly clear. I DO love those Marines. We are at war with an enemy that means to slaughter us and overthrow the United States of America. I don't CAIR that these Marines wee wee'ed on murderous savages.
I didn't know the Tea Party had a leader. When did that happen ?
