"In 2010, abortion procedures made up 91% (329,445) of Planned Parenthood’s services for pregnant women, while prenatal services and adoption referrals account for only 8.6% (31,098) and 0.2% (841), respectively."

Get yours straight first. My gynecologist doesn't offer mammograms; she refers me to a radiology practice. Every Planned Parenthood location does not offer mammograms; it refers women to a radiology practice and sometimes wholly or partially pays the bill.

Remember, for many women if it wasn't for PP they would not see a doctor AT ALL. For some, they come to PP because they have no insurance, they can't afford typical health care, or they find standard clinics less accessible. Planned parenthood is the first step in screening, for people who would never ultimately get a mammogram if it wasn't for their referral.
Good points. Worth reading again and again.

The Bible can be twisted as well, and has been for centuries. Why should the truth get in the way?

Come on, even you must think this is slightly disgusting.
What I find disgusting is your narrow minded and willfull refusal to read plain English. Let me say it again, since you missed it the first time: The gift cards for for any service Planned Parenthood offers, including gynecological exams and ... wait for it ... breast cancer screenings.

Don't be obtuse. None of this is about abortion. It's about providing every possible opportunity for women to take care of themselves and providing every possible opportunity for early cancer detection.

You only think you have better morals.
Provide sources for your elementary, ridiculous comments. But first, please stop hitting the Libby kool aide so early.
I'm confused as to why anyone thinks it is SGK's sole responsibility to pony up funds for mammograms. No one is entitled to SGK's money or anyone else's so what's the uproar?
You'd have had to figure out a way to pay for mammograms before SGK so generously provided them, so do that now.
My doc referred me to an imaging center, where I was able to use my insurance.
If I were so financially strapped I couldn't afford that, that's why there's Medicaid.
How many safety nets / entitlements are people clamoring for??

Oh we agree with you!
Nobody is entitled to SGK's money and you and SKG are not entitled to be free from reading our criticism of them.

The left want every entitlement they can get their hands on and the easier to obtain, the better.
Just because SGK is no longer funneling money to their charity of choice -PPH- the left now wants to demonize and demolish an organization that has done numerous good things regarding breast cancer.
The left seem to think that they have the right to use other people's money. SGK has every right to decide whom receives their contributions.
