So again, why are you now persisting in this lie?

Press coverage of Sheriff Joe's press conference yesterday:

Phoenix New Times
It’s the latest entry in a long line of publicity stunts for Arpaio, and this one just so happened to take place while the sheriff’s taking heat for the several hundred sex crimes his office bungled, and the Justice Department’s claim that he’s running a shop with the worst-racial profiling practices in U.S. history.
Fox News
The Obama birth certificate controversy has been widely debunked but remains alive in the eyes of some conservatives. Last year, Donald Trump most prominently revived the issue while entertaining a possible bid for the presidency.
Slate
This was the wrong news day for Sheriff Joe Arpaio to release the results of his "cold case posse" investigation of Barack Obama’s birth documents. A quick read reveals nothing that hasn’t been published on WorldNetDaily before, and Jerome Corsi, WND’s psuedo-investigator, was on hand in Phoenix to make his usual claims.
The Arizona Republic
You didn’t seriously fall for the claim that Arpaio’s intent was to announce some great discovery concerning President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, did you?
The Christian Science Monitor
Critics say Arpaio has much to gain by injecting himself into the so-called birther issue, which could deflect attention from his troubles while appealing to conservative supporters. He remains under federal investigation for potential civil rights violations, and a separate federal probe centers on accusations of abuse of power.
Associated Press
Arpaio on Thursday unveiled preliminary results of an investigation, conducted by members of his volunteer cold-case posse, into the authenticity of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, a controversy that has been widely debunked but which remains alive in the eyes of some conservatives.
BBC
His investigators found "probable cause" the certificate may have been made by "forgery and fraud", he said.
Mr Arpaio, known for his tough stance on immigration, is being investigated over allegations of racial profiling.
Politico
Although objections to the authenticity of the president’s birth certificate have been widely debunked, some conservatives continue to make the country of the president’s birth an issue.
The Telegraph
Most Republican critics of Obama have given up pursuing such widely discredited "birther" allegations. But the investigation by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, carried out by what he described as five-member volunteer "posse," was prompted by a request last August from a group of conservative Tea Party activists in the Phoenix valley.
The New York Times
There is an argument that it’s best to ignore crazy people. You have nothing to gain by reasoning with the guy on the subway shouting about the end of the world. But what if the crazy guy’s a prominent law enforcer, and what if he’s shouting about the president of the United States?
Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the self-appointed terrorizer of the Hispanic population of Maricopa County, Arizona, who is currently under federal investigation for discriminating against Latinos, held a press conference today that might stir up the ridiculous “birther” movement.
USA Today
Critics also have sought Arpaio’s resignation for more than 400 sex-crimes cases over a three-year period ending in 2007 that were either inadequately investigated or weren’t investigated at all by the sheriff’s office after the crimes were reported.
AZ Central
Given that he has now secured the “birther” vote, it would not surprise me if the sheriff would now direct his volunteer posse sleuths to appease other the conspiracy theory folks who might assist him in the polls in November.
“Proving” that we all watched a “fake” moon landing is an obvious choice, of course, but not the only one.

I agree, you could have a more lucid conversation with a german shepherd than the average birther.

I don't take this as credible verification ...

The Hawaii officials are also in very hot water due to the evidence discovered so I can imagine they will say anything at this point.

They will however handover the evidence they collected during their election investigation. The criminal investigation will occur in US Congress.

You are so wrong it is hilarious. Sheriff Arpaio has no jurisdiction or authority in election matters. Also, the full faith and credit clause of the Constitution means that Arizona has no standing to challenge a document issued and verified as authentic by another state. Since Hawaii has stated many times that Obama's birth certificate exists and there is no doubt that he was born in Honolulu, there is nothing left to be challenged by a court or any rational person.

Of course you don't. You're a Birther, and so you believe your own lies that you know you just made up rather than what the actual evidence shows.

Thus proving again that Harrier was sadly mistaken to attribute a quest for truth as a possible Birther motive.

Nobody on Arpiao's posse has contradicted them.

So the lie is originally and entirely yours.

And for those still paying attention to Georgia, the Birther appeals there to the embarrassing loss to the empty chair were just denied today:

I am no fan, but these findings were what they were I believe and further investigations are warranted IMO.

We have no Obama school records.
No school writings.
A guy claiming he had tapes of Obama as a younger person to be released near the election came up dead yesterday.
Microfiche records only involving the Obama birth week come up missing in the Hawaii archives.
There were no Obama past girlfriends or boyfriends that have ever come to light.

Strange strange strange IMO.
