Dems Played Games Over Sandra Fluke and Obama Played Political Games to Distract (drug, health care)

Limbaugh is a pathetic idiot, nothing new there...talking head nobody like most on the am radiowaves.
But have all the liberal commentators that called Palin the "c" word apologize as well? I know that two wrongs dont make a right, but the double standard is blatantly obvious, and the next election will prove that.
I'm a moderate R--I hate to say it, but political commentators on the liberal side haven't gone as low as Rush just did.
Ed Schultz called Palin a bimbo, and he was taken off the air and suspended for a week by MSNBC when he called Laura Ingraham a "right wing sl*t." I can't stand Ed Schultz, but in his defense, he never implied that Laura Ingraham was sexually promiscuous--that's very clear from the conversation when he used the term. He used the term in the context of being a "political wh*re"--a term that means that you'll defend or support any behavior or any candidate as long as it's for your party, and you'll attack the other side for doing what your side does as well. It's still an inappropriate term, no matter how it's used. Bill Maher is the one who said the "C" word regarding Sarah Palin. He isn't a political commentator--he's a comedian--and nothing happened to him because he's on HBO and doesn't have to deal with sponsors. I refuse to watch his show.
Bottom line--what those liberals said was awful and disgusting--there is no excuse for it. What Rush said was worse.
I like how republicans have been dragging out this excuse over and over. "The dems are playing games, they tricked us!" Obama ambushed them by going to the yearly retreat they invited him to, they were tricked into voting down their own proposals by Obama supporting them, they were forced to cut the deficit by constantly refusing to compromise in any way, they were tricked into standing against the payroll tax cut by...something, and now they'd been tricked into calling women sluts and prostitutes because Pelosi invited a woman to testify on women's contraception.
Man, republicans don't seem to have any confidence in their leaders at all.
I think the radical social conservative end of the R party got tricked all right--tricked into showing it's true colors. They need to go, and I'm hoping that we can purge them from the party soon. The rest of you need to remember that most R's are as horrified by this kind of talk as everyone else. It isn't appropriate when ANYONE does things like this, no matter which side they're on.
Okay, let's suppose your "article" is correct and Ms. Fluke was a White House plant. So what? Ask yourself these questions:
Why would a man running for President say that he believes States should be able to outlaw contraception if he didn't truly believe it?
Why would multiple Republican controlled states be introducing legislation that would require additional humiliation, and possible rape with a foreign object?
What possessed a Congressman to have hearings about contraception to not invite nor allow a single woman to participate in the panel?
What does it say about their frame of mind when the talking heads make Ms. Flukes's (the possible plant's) testimony purely about sex and not about the actual content, which was women's health care.
What possessed the most powerful voice in the Republican Party to call a private citizen a, "s***," "prostitution," and a porn star?
What are you actually upset about? That a White House plant got Republican leaders and candidates to give honest opinions on a subject? Is it the honesty you don't like, or the fact that it has shed light on just how out of tough these leaders and candidates are with a majority of Americans?
The real tell, to me, is the word "coed". Who, outside of pornographers, still calls college women that?
But if she's an activist, so what? Activists get called to speak or give testimony all the time, including the five religious activists that Issa had testify in front of his subcommittee. And since she freely stated in her testimony that she was studying at Georgetown Law, and that she was on a student group for reproductive rights, there's really no coverup here at all.
jeez your post did not seem at all facetious, but whatever. You're right though, I'm not going to claim victim status. That ploy is the sole province of the left; I think they have it patented.
Yeah, right. Just look at all the whining by the RW on here about the poor and all the "benefits" they get.

Interesting little read. I still believe that this 30 year old activist was used (and im sure she didnt mind) by the Democrats. She was used solely for political purposes.
Something else to remember, no one was even talking about birth control until Obama brought this whole thing up. He is doing nothing more than playing pathetic political games. The goal, which has been successful so far, is to put something out there he knew many would be upset over, and the overall focus would shift from his record, the economy, gas, jobs, etc to this silly thing over bc.
So much for that hope and change coming to DC. He is as bad as anyone else thats been here when it comes to political charades and games. While Im sure some of you are proud he used this trick, but you really should be ashamed. But if you arent now, you never will be. The media and Obama pushed this hope and change and how Obama was really something different and refreshing. From week one he proved he was nothing different. Same bs. Tax cheats, lies, scandals, no transparency.
He continued some of the things he stood flat out against, and the liberals did too......at one time. Now very few libs say anything about the things they were yelling about 4 years ago. Its ok if Obama does it I suppose....
Bottom line is he used this BC and Sandra Fluke for political purposes. He knew at least part of what she said was going to make her look a bit foolish but he and Pelosi trotted her out there anyways. Im not going to excuse some of the names she's been called, unfortunately some on the right let themselves get caught in this stupid trap and they bit...bit hard. Regardless, half of her testimony was nonsense and can be easily argued against. But the fact that Obama orchestrated all this for distraction and political stupidity is what really should be the focus here. Its a shame many of you cant see that or you wont admit it. I believe you need to find another leader.
Oh yes you could say she is in fact a fluke of fame. Who thinks they should be compelled to pay for this little itchy britches recreation? What next toilet paper, oh we're already doing that aren't we!
It is strange that all the criticism of her completely ignores what she testified. Well, I guess not strange, when you consider the sources, and target audience, of the criticism.
And yet there are alternative treatments. Birth control pills are not the only method for treating what she stated as her condition.
I am somewhat compelled to offer free birth control as an investment. Although I am firmly opposed to abortion I believe you would find very few abortions from conservative women due to moral superiority. We may well be limiting infestation of the planet of liberals and immorals by paying for contraception. This is one of those win win propositions.
Do tell us! And tell us what the preferred treatment is. It wasn't her condition, BTW, it was a friend's.
I like the sound of "alternative treatments" as presented by random dudes on the internet.. It vilifies bcp and hormones and healthcare and women all at once. Bravo.
