In reality, Kucinich loves America more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched by corporate thieves and religious theocracy in government.
It's a shame. We need balance. Even though I don't agree with everything Paul says, we need guys like him in government. We need more mavericks, true mavericks, not phoney ones.
Actually, Ron Paul is a phoney. He says he's against earmarks and manages to get them in spending bills. Then, he votes against the bill, which passes anyway, and can then claim that he voted against earmarks while still getting them.

He's pretty consistent on other issues however, especially foreign policy and the Patriot Act. The point is that it's probably not a good idea to have a congress that is 99% in sync when it comes to anything. I want to have at least a couple of guys in there playing devil's advocate.

Ohio Republicans drew the Congressional districts in northern Ohio to pit Kaptur against Kucinich. It's as simple as that.
