This NAFTA Super Highway which starts its first leg in Texas next year is set to run from Mexico to Canada with KC a major terminal for the trucks with Mexican drivers. You can check it out at realclearpoliticsdotcom.

This super highway will be 400 yards wide all the way through the US with MO. as a state marked out for the highway. That being said if you own land in the path of this highway "immanent domain" will kick in. And if you plan to buy land I would be careful where in that area. This is awful how we have been betrayed on this I hate it and we need to stop it.

Any thoughts from the MO. locals on this?

Angry Outrageous

Not a native, but an American none the less, and thank you for enlightening all who read your post. I googled info on this and my stomach just turned reading about this betrayal by our elected officials. It's unbelievable. It effects more than just Missourians. All of us taxpayers are financing this project. And none of us benefit. I'm sick. So many have given their lives to keep America free, and we will become Mexamerica (not making this up) and lose our precious country to become a blending of Mexico and America. This was engineered and an agreement signed between Bush and Fox of Mexico. Ground breaks for this in Texas next year. The ultimate scale of this project is mind reeling. Even if it's not directly in one's own backyard, it directly effects us all. This is the ultimate betrayal of trusting citizens. I cry for our veterans and our future.

Clinton's second-biggest mistake, in my opinion. NAFTA is a disaster.
