it was just one commentator that quickly slipped it in during a round table discussion and it's never mentioned again.
i don't know who the commentator is but i'm really hoping someone follows up on this today and asks her to clarify, expand or give a source for her statement. my guess she will either:
A): say she was joking ( in which case the birthers will claim she was "got to" and that is absolute proof that obama paid to hide his records ).
B): say she was misinformed but never give a source ( in which case the birthers will claim she was "got to" and that is absolute proof that obama paid to hide his records ).
if there is no further comment on the statement then....... birthers will claim that is absolute proof that obama paid to hide his records .
That's impossible since he is paying 200k so they can't be released. We can't see them to inspect. That is what the Fox news report stated and what this thread is about.
I don't know whether it is true that he is paying money to keep his Harvard transcripts secret, but if it is that raises another interesting question: where did the money come from? That is the question that is currently embroiling John Edwards in a criminal trial. If Obama paid to keep his transcripts secret and if the money he used to do so came from campaign donations he may have some 'splaining to do.
Well if his grades sucked (and I'm not alleging they did) that would create significant dissonance with the claim by some that the man is utterly brilliant.
By definition, people who graduate magna cvm laude had grades that did not suck.
For the moment, I'll assume that this idiocy was created by amateurs, and was not actually shown on Fox News. Having people blather that Obama actually spent money to keep his college transcript sealed, when everyone knows that all college transcripts are sealed by law, and have been since the 1970s, would make the entire network look like fools.
Funny how the Obama supporters here act like they are neighbors or best friends with Obama and know EVERYTHING that is true about the man. That is pure BS, you people know nothing of truth about the asshat. He is a habitual liar, nothing he has EVER said is the truth.
Has no one at Fox ever attended college? Has no one at Fox ever been pestered to death by their alumni association? Has no one on Fox ever made a contribution to their alumni association? If they honestly believe that a graduate (especially one who is successful) making a contribution to their university is somehow suspicious then their answer to those questions is "no." Good grief. Just how ignorant must one be to be hired by Fox?
