In in doing this, we'd gain what exactly? What's the upside?
I see most of this as the opposite. More efficiency and cohesion within army chain of command.

lol are you serious?

He's previously backed up his military faux-expertise with references to all his "seal buddies" so obviously he's got his finger on the pulse of the US military and can speak as an insider.

You demonstrate, clearly, that you have no understanding of the services the roles they play in our society and of the oaths service personnel have taken. Take your Pelosi comments to that discussion ... where they're appropriate.
