Yeah. And we all should be paying attention to whom our POTUS is listening.

For those who may be too young to remember Mr. Ayers' turbulent past and connection to revolution, terrorism & communism:

"He is known for his 1960s activism as well as his current work in education reform, curriculum, and instruction. In 1969 he co-founded the Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary group[2] that conducted a campaign of bombing public buildings during the 1960s and 1970s..."

Bill Ayers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Amazing to think the President of the United States launched his political career from this man’s living room."

Weasel Zippers » Blog Archive » Obama Pal Bill Ayers: “American Empire In Decline And Remaining Most Weaponized Military System Earth Has Ever Known Is A Treacherous Combination”…
Not amazing at all, New World Order has been in the works for a long time. The goal is complete control by 2020.

“It is the system of nationalist individualism that has to go….We are living in the end of the sovereign states….In the great struggle to evoke a Westernized World Socialism, contemporary governments may vanish….Countless people…will hate the new world order….and will die protesting against it.” H.G. Wells, in his book, “The New World Order”, 1940
“Some even believe we (the Rockefeller family) are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”
- David Rockefeller, Memoirs, page 405

As we can see quite clearly from the direct quotes above, the New World Order, and its pursuit of global government, is not some “delusion” built upon exaggerated claims or impractical fears. It is, in fact, a very OPEN and freely admitted sociopolitical ideology held by a select and decidedly influential group of people. To label it “conspiracy theory” is absurd.

This is hillarious - I'm falling over laughing - you are quoting what the bible says will happen in the last days when corruption reaches throughout the world and.. .. world wide economic crisis.!!

Seems to me the bible is extremely accurate depicting today's news - 2,000 years ago. It even goes as far as mentioning the 3 main players against Israel - Iran - Russia & China!!

Nah. Negative. If you hadn't mentioned Sarah Palin, i'd never think of her.

Hell, she's the best thing that ever happened to Liberals. I've said a million times that McCain should slap the dumb bastard that suggested she be his running mate every time he sees him.

You decide to cherry pick a quote and that's what you come up with?

Cake.

1. The United States of America isn't an empire. Check a dictionary if you have to.

2. Re: economic decline:

Which is it? Is the economy in decline, or is it growing? Based on your earlier statement, you believe it's growing, so by default, even you disagree with Ayers' comment.

3. Re: political decline: Politics hasn't changed in hundreds of years. Only politicians have. The current administration is intentionally divisive and has utterly failed at governing, which has led to very charged discussions such as this one, but we're not in "political decline." It's just politics as usual, for the most part.

4. Re: cultural decline: That's the only bone that might have some meat on it. It's hard to say, though, because every generation thinks that the following generation is going to hell in a hand basket. Mozart was a rebel, after all... One could look at certain, very specific aspects of society and use those to build an argument that we're in a cultural decline, but I believe that Ayers was just capitalizing on the natural tendency of people - especially those who would follow him - to think the worst about other people.

So is that all ya got?

One term in that title keeps me from listening to that speech. Of course, that is social justice.

Ayers is stuck in the 60's, a time and place most of us left behind long ago.

I've exchanged Jackson Brown's... 'In 69 I was 21, I called the road my own....'
For the Beatles... 'Will you still need me, will you still feed me When I'm 64?'

"Social justice generally refers to the idea of creating a society or institution that is based on the principles of equality and solidarity, that understands and values human rights, and that recognizes the dignity of every human being."

Yes, I see how that could be considered a dirty word (phrase) to your typical conservative.

I think its funny that liberals say something like that but what they mean is totally opposite... "every human being" except those they seek to steal from...
