"Bill Ayers spoke at the University of Oregon last week on the subject of teaching and organizing for “social justice.” His speech was not free of the radical sentiments he is well-known for espousing (especially in the company of America’s youth). Case in point: he spoke of the end of America, a new world, and what our role ought to be in all of it."
For those who may be too young to remember Mr. Ayers' turbulent past and connection to revolution, terrorism & communism:
"He is known for his 1960s activism as well as his current work in education reform, curriculum, and instruction. In 1969 he co-founded the Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary group[2] that conducted a campaign of bombing public buildings during the 1960s and 1970s..."
Do most normal people say they wake up every day and think about how they can end capitalism?
Do most normal people head up groups that use bombs on public and private targets such as the Pentagon, Police Station, and a US Judge in order to initiate the Revolution against the government which they want?
Do most normal people say on the very day the twin towers were attacked/destroyed, that the Pentagon was attacked, that the attack on the White House was averted by passengers on the plane, that he does not regret the bombing of his Weather Underground group and that they should have bombed more?
Really, that is your idea of how "normal" people think?

Reason: clarification
That's probably the biggest difference between Obama and Romney and will play a big part in Romney's win. Obama, like his buddy, Ayers has no pride in America and its exceptionalism and has given up on America. There is no inspiration toward anything but the hope of standing in line to get a few more food stamps to take home to our little row house. All doom and gloom.
Whereas, Romney has demonstrated in his personal life, the greatness America has to offer all of us if we are willing to work toward it. Romney proclaims his pride in America and is a Positive Force in maintaining our Greatness.

Would you care to refute this part of his comments?
"...the American Empire is in decline–that economically, and politically, and in some ways culturally, that we are in decline..."
ALL brought about through Progressive policies. Bill needs to blame his own ideologies for this decline, but he won't because it was purposefully done.

Indeed. And, as stated earlier, Ayers and those of his visions are more than happy to "let it go."
Geeez, he's been looking forward to this day since the 60's!
Big reason we need to kick this administration out and bring in those actually interested in restoring the greatness of America.
