I'm giving serious thought towards moving to Canada if Romney gets elected. That more than likely won't happen, though.

No, we should make the US be run like a prison, right? Since it has everything you dream about.

No, thanks. I know exactly where it is. I have a GPS, and I was a geography major in college. Thanks for the offer, though. This is only a backup plan in case the country doesn't turn around which I'm optimistic that it will. Rome wasn't built in a day, though. We'll see once the OWS picks up some momentum now that the weather is getting warmer. Scott Walker being recalled should really get that snowball rolling. When the Tea Baggers have even fewer places to hide, I'll be less compelled to move abroad. My plan is to at least move out of Texas permanently. That much you can count on.

I'm not asking of the US should be run like a prison. I'm asking if they should get rid of prisons because they're state-owned and state-run. Quit dancing around the question. That reverse psychology schtick doesn't work with me.

Yet another bale of straw. Can you make a cogent, non-strawman post?

Why should we get rid of prisons? Living in communism seems to be quite an appropriate punishment for criminals.

Hey new buddy! I doubt Romney's policies will be much different than Obama's or Bush's. After all, the Washington Consensus hasn't changed in a long time.

You live in a world of envious, blindered denial. You won't admit, probably can't see it, and if you did, would look the other way.

Walker won't be recalled - not even close. Wisconsin loves him.

Curious, why should tea party members have to "hide" (your word, not mine). You and your fellow brown-shirts coming out with your jack-boots and truncheons to teach 'em a lesson? Another Crystal Nacht, perhaps? Your words give you, or at least your true feelings away.

OWS are a bunch of nobody's. Hear me, nobody's. Any good Boy Scout, no, check that, Girl Scout troop can kick their sorry, maggot-infested doper asses back into the sewer they crawled out of.

Flash to Austin. Good news. Mepho is packing his bags and heading for the hills. Can't handle standing on his own feet like the grownup Americans have for generation after generation after generation, Girl Scouts, Brownies and Weblos included.

IF, are you serious? Obama is toast. Not even he believes in him anymore.

Spoiler
Why don't we privatize them so only those who can afford it are allowed these amenities? Let's not forget Medicaid and Medicare. The conservatives don't want government telling us how to live except for who we should marry and what women can and can't do with their bodies. They'd rather leave that to Wall Street and let the whole world be owned by one big giant corporation. They think socialized medicine is an atrocity because HMO's and insurance companies have their fingers in everybody's pies. Pardon me if you think I'm unkind for believing doctors should go into medicine to help people and not because they want to live in a McMansion with 18 widescreen plasma TV's, drive 5 BMW's, and pontificate their net value to everyone at the country club, the golf course, or aboard their fancy yachts.

Better yet, what about the military? The military isn't just socialist; it's communist. This I know because I served myself. They have an agenda by which everyone lives. Nobody is allowed to live where they want. All property and businesses are owned by the state, and you forfeit your Constitutional rights by joining. Soldiers are considered government property. My company commander even told me, "Nothing in the military is optional." They even have socialized medicine. We've been using communism to stop the spread of communism in the name of liberty when it was really all about capitalism. We've even used tax dollars to make rich CEO's of defense companies like Halliburton and Lockheed Martin become richer.

I know, I know! How dare you speak that way about those serving our country, bleeding-hearted liberal! Thou shalt be sent to Guantanamo Bay and waterboarded! Off with his head, right? If socialism and communism are so horrible, why do we continue bartering with China and outsourcing jobs there while there's still an embargo on Cuba? I can promise everyone China has a longer track record of human rights violations than Cuba or even the Soviet Union. Unfortunately, all we know about socialism is what we were told growing up during the Cold War or what those idiots on FOX News say. They don't know the difference between actual socialism, Marxism, and communism which is an extreme form of socialism. Some even confuse it with fascism with the exact opposite. What say you about this one?
In ten words or less... YES! Privatize with local, state, and/or federal oversight where appropriate.

And all government offices that are not direct Cabinet level reports should be moved out of DC into the rest of the country according to Representative allocation. Let the individual states decide where their allotment of federal offices should be located, not to include state capitals.
