There were also about 350,000 dropouts in March - which is why the UE rate went down then. And these two months are not alone - the UE rate would be well over 10% without all the dropouts over the past few years.
And the quantity of dropouts should be the media's lead story with every jobs report. During this admin, there have been over 4 million. Tragic.

I'm sure those who want more jobs have always tried to buy American made goods right?

bob, I think you failed to show any kind of proof of what you say. Since we have been losing jobs all of your months where was the growth. Get those links of proof out of your computer and on the forum.

The GOP prescription is the same, no matter what the problem, tax-cuts for the rich and corporations and cut government spending. How do we know the Republicans aren't offering anything to improve the jobs situation? Everything that comes from the House gets tabled in the Senate and are never heard from again. I guess my Republican Congressman must be a liar since your sources just aren't according to you.

My Congressman, of course a Republican has said over and over that they continue to send jobs bills to the Senate and that Dirty Harry continues to table them so the Senate membership never finds out what they were about. Where do you get all that information about those bills?

For starters you never believe a politician when they talk about the other party.

I about fell put of bed when I read that ridiculous post. Roy Sold Boy's congressman's has been sending bills over to the senate, but Harry hasn't let the rest of the senate know about them, LOL. Someone needs a remedial civics class.

Here is a chart thru Jan, now you provide proof that the Harry Reid has been "HIDDING" bills from the house from the rest of the Senate.

I have, my last foreign car was a 1976 Honda. I have a Ford Fusion Hybrid, a Silverado 2500 and a Forest River motorhome built on a Chevy chassis.

I seldom visit Walmart, try to buy from local businesses wherever we go. Fact is that is the biggest thing you can do, BUY FROM LOCALLY OWNED BUSINESSES.

Problem is many low value consumer goods are not American made any more. That is a corporate business decision. Blaming the working poor for their buying choices when there really isn't a choice is a bit lame, right? Right?
