You do realize that the U.S. no longer has orphanages don't you?
All children who have no parents to care for them are placed in foster care homes, with foster parents, who often end up adopting them, as family & friends of mine have.
Gay marriage celebrates the creative function as a waste, toward biological waste, fixated on biological waste, and is obviously a remark which holds humanity as well creation, to be in fact a waste.

People who have the right to vote, have the right to voice a remark against allowing, the insult to be understood as a value, where we know, there is no value whatsoever.
Uncustomary and insulting behaviors against the construction of the anatomy cannot be described as customary, or traditional.
Therefore, the social environmental in which one lives is ruled in an irrational way.
People have the right to live in a setting, which is governed in a way which promotes the rational flourishing of its species.
Encouraging the abnormality also as we fully know, now interferes with reasonable expectations toward national as well global well being, that is to say, health. We know, science knows, the M-M interaction is why, the most powerful disease globally has become what it is, killing many who have nothing to do with the direct, intentional and abhorrent insult to creation.
In this magic world you live in. Would you ban those who can't create a child or are past child bearing ages to get married?? Would you ban oral and anal sex? Would you ban sex or any purpose other than creating children?
And how does it hurt you that children suffer?

People don't care about children until these children grow up & go on a killing spree at THEIR local school, or until it somehow affects THEM.

Since every study done on children raised by same sex says that they thrive, and do as well or better than children raised in traditional families, I say you are wrong...They do not end up going on a killing spree, one of the most ridiculous claims I have ever heard ...Only about 20% of the children in foster care are adopted, and only about 4% of these are adopted by same sex parents..Why aren't more adopted by heterosexual families?

Also, research common law marriage & cohabitation agreements & you'll see that many rights are available to couples, especially if they create a contract when they first start living together.
Again, the only reason to legally change the definition of marriage, is to legally force all of society to honor sexual deviations as if they are normal & healthy, when they are not.
Part of this wanting to appear normal is wanting to deny children mothers or fathers, so same-sex couples can have what they want, even though it is not in the best interest of children.

I want to say first that I support your views and the views of several others who have posted in this thread over the last hour or so. However you must know that you are "debating" people who are bigoted. I think it is possible to change the opinions of people who have incorrect information, or those who have not sufficiently thought through some issue, but I think bigotry is a different animal. Bigotry dismisses logic and replaces it with misguided emotion. Fortunately bigotry usually succumbs to fair-minded logic... eventually.

Again, this is just not really true. I listed 7 specific rights of marriage, none of which can be conferred to gay couples based on a will, or trust, or living will, or common law marriage (which is not available to gay couples by the way) or cohabitation agreement - or by any means whatsoever. There are hundreds of other such rights.
At least I seem to be making a bit of progress with you. You've gone from saying that gay couples can get all the same rights of marriage to which straight couples are automatically entitled, to saying gay couples can get "many" if they painstakingly navigate the system.
But why should gay couples have to pay lawyers thousands of dollars and spend hours and hours and hours to get a fraction of the rights that come with civil marriage contracts? That's not equal. Our Constitution guarantees that all be allowed equal access to and equal treatment under the civil, secular laws of the US and its several states - that includes civil marriage law.
We will be labeled homophobic haters but it is important to stand our ground. This does not come from hate. It comes from concern. This is a huge experiment that is moving way too quickly to try and change all of society; not just get one small group treated more compassionately. We are being bamboozled with guilt, lies and bullying and our children will be paying the price.
Take a look at the homosexual manifesto, originally published in 1987. I have highlighted in red what has already been accomplished. What is not highlighted will most likely be accomplished within the next decade or two. Like it or not, this is the future of America and of western civilization. This is not about allowing homosexuals to live their lives as they see fit or to have equal marriage/civil union rights under the law which I support. This is about remaking society into a homo-erotic culture in which anybody opposed in any way for any reason is humiliated and exiled from society.
