I'd say quite the opposite form what Op s article implied.Its even wrose as far as the unemployment numbers i this recession. Degree run about twice the rate. Also by 40 the income difference is huge. I'm 64 and the only people I know who made it above lower middle class without a degree in a needed field were those who started their own business.But with more and more automation and machinery that needs less people needed some jobs are being out moded not outsourced. I the previous poster comments I'd say without fiancing'drwawing.negeerrig of meterials used there will be no need for a perosn operating a nailgun or plumber or electrican at all. Then of cousre they need someone who can afford to buy their skill to work for them.Most projects take alot of people ebfore the first nail is driven ;so to speak.Without the people buying or the fiancing it come to a stop like we see now in constrcvuting anything.Farming is big biusiness now days with all the business skills of any other.
