I think that the new President should just sit still and be a figure head that never speaks and let the people rule for a while....Just because a guy gets to be president does not a president make. The way things are with this warped and twisted electoral system is that- you could make the family dog president and people would worship the mutt and say how brilliant the dog is...He would bark and everybody would translate that noise into exactly what they wanted to hear.
It's Congress that really runs the show.

The camp was in poland. I assume that is what caused the slip. I am no big fan of Obama but **** happens on occasion. This is a non-issue and its not like Poland is our closest ally and we can't afford to lose them. They need us far more than we need them.
Obama does plenty to bang on his door about. This issue shouldn't have even made the radar.

Uhm what is her status? Is she an elected rep? What authority does she have. From where I am sitting she is little more than window dressing. Expensive window dressing to be sure. Important? Who is Mrs. Obama important to? Who is any first lady important to? She is the woman on the presidents arm. Nothing more nothing less. I mean no disrespect to the first lady but the fact remains she is presidential baggage.

No woman is a man’s baggage. The first lady is an unofficial ambassador of the United States and a champion of out culture. She doesn’t make policy decisions but in America she’s more important than the queen of England.

To bad that AMERICA did not have a system where the best and brightest were elected--instead of the most ambitious.
Sometimes I think these two go out of there way to insult people.

Insulting foreign leaders goes a long way ruining friendship with citizens of a country. You don't go into a country and disrespect their leaders, but it is what I would expect from you and your ilk.

Ok, so he mis-spoke. It's happened to many people before. It was unfortunate, but I think the prognosis for the survival of Poland and the rest of the world is pretty good. Some people really blow things out of proportion.
