They were questions.

I stated, as have other posters to this thread, that there is no need for a "straight" pride parade.

Seeing as how this is a public message board, I feel totally justified in posting my opinions.
Of course you can. I'm asking you questions about your opinions.

Would it offend you?

Right. Pride in being gay when the dominant message from society has been that it is not only bad to be gay, but dangerous for others.

Where did I ever say I oppose it? It just doesn't make any sense. Society celebrates heterosexuality all the time. That's why people aren't rushing out to spend their time planning the straight pride parade. There are high school dances, fraternity/sorority parties, engagement and wedding functions to plan and attend.

OK - thank you for your clarification.

For the record - I voted no opinion. I don't particularly care if either gay pride or straight pride parades take place - I wouldn't support either one - nor would I actively oppose them.

Why do you consider the poll to be biased? What options could I include or remove to make it better - in your opinion? I tried to cover all bases.
You failed to include the option of singing of the song "I Love A Parade" done a la Ethel Merman while dressed in cross-drag.
Anything else is biased.

I only know that one Ethel Merman song - and only because I watched the movie Airplane(1980).
