Anyway, the kid should've kept the dough. Did the organization tell him to return it? If not, then keep it. I can't pull up the link for some reason. No one would care about a measly grand anyway if he kept it.
I have a feeling that this story is more hyperbole than anything else.

I wonder if you are a white woman, particularly a hooker, if you could get the money. I know it isnt talked about much, but didnt he have sex parties with white hookers? Not trying to diminish the good he stood for but I think all sides of MLK should be known about.

Glenn Beck is a far superior follower of Dr King than any blacks (or lefties) that I've seen.

No, a giftgiver can restrict the pool of recipients however they want. I once received a scholarship from my carpenters' union local. You had to be a member, spouse or child of a member of THAT local.
