Chuck,

If you are willing to hide atrocity, you are not doing the "necessary dirty work of America," which seems to be implicit in your pseudo alpha male fantasy.

You're just another one of histories moral cowards.

It's about right and wrong. Basic stuff. You don't get to justify the "wrong" because your team did it.

You didn't read the link? He's not even been charged by Sweden. He knows how corrupt the US government is. He's in effect seeking asylum from us and our puppet in Sweden.

That and knocking off Bin Laden. Good moves! Don't care for Obama so much, but in these cases he gets a big

Assange asks Ecuador for asylum - Glenn Greenwald - Salon.com

In December, 2001, Sweden handed over two asylum-seekers to the CIA, which then rendered them to be tortured in Egypt. A ruling from the U.N. Human Rights Committee found Sweden in violation of the global ban on torture for its role in that rendition (the two individuals later received a substantial settlement from the Swedish government). The fact that Sweden has unusually oppressive pre-trial procedures — allowing for extreme levels of secrecy in its judicial proceedings — only heightens Assange’s concern about what will happen to him vis-a-vis the U.S. if he ends up in Swedish custody
You think that under Obama the US "justice system" is "rigid?" With Eric Holder in charge?

And you say, "Good for him?" What kind of American are you? Certainly not a patriotic American. Why don't you go live elsewhere if you don't like it here? Perhaps some socialist country?

This is modern day fake conservatism. 100% supportive of breaking laws when it suits them.

You've made my case.

I've said for years right wingers are not conservatives, but scared pitiful authoritarians.

Craving to give government the ability to kill citizens on the US President's say so alone.

Libertarians are about the only true conservatives left.

Little substance? Wikileaks released more scoops of Worldwide government wrongdoing than all the Western press corps combined.

I could see how a scared authoritarian would believe that's insignificant. You crave to be lead around my macho strong corrupt leaders, so macho they don't need to follow laws.....LOL

That's how dictatorial, oligarchy's start.

By authoritarians such as yourself helping to hide government wrongdoing behind tired "security" excuses.
In order to provide for the security that the Constitution requires of the Federal Government vis-a-vis, to provide for the common defense, ensure domestic tranquility, and also to secure the blessings of liberty, it is essential that some things be kept secret.

A military force does not dare to broadcast it's intent to the enemy, right? Would a football team tell the rival how they intended to win the game and reveal their plays in advance (perhaps you can better understand those terms)?

You are as naive as they come.

You need the to read the thread. He's seeking asylum from two corrupt legal systems guilty of this
