Republicans block Bring Jobs Home Act in Congress (Representatives, employment, Pelosi)

Washington’s delegation voted on party lines with Republican Reps. Jaime Herrera Beutler, Dave Reichert, “Doc” Hastings and Cathy McMorris Rodgers all voting to block consideration of the Bring Jobs Home Act.
Working families here in Washington state and around the country are mobilizing to build support for the bill,
which would eliminate tax breaks that allow companies to deduct expenses associated with moving operations overseas and would provide a tax credit to corporations that bring jobs back to the United States.
The Senate is expected to take up its version of the bill (S. 2884) later this month.
Bring Jobs Home Act - Amends the Internal Revenue Code to:
(1) grant business taxpayers a tax credit for up to 20% of insourcing expenses incurred for eliminating a business located outside the United States and relocating it within the United States, and
(2) deny a tax deduction for outsourcing expenses incurred in relocating a U.S. business outside the United States. Requires an increase in the taxpayer's employment of full-time employees in the United States in order to claim the tax credit for insourcing expenses.
Anyone care to look further and explain WHY they voted to block consideration? Just saying the GOP voted to block the bill without detailing why is **** poor journalism, and indicative of liberal gerrymandering in order to make Republicans look bad. At least two liberals on this forum fell for it. How many more will pile on?
Sounds like a good bill. Why am I not surprised that Republicans did not like it.
I'm for it. But Republicans will tell you it's anti business. Keep in mind the Republicans got to show support for their big global American companies that richly contribute to them.

"gerrymandering" That word does not mean what you think it means.
Also, you could read the actual language of the bill, or at least the synopsis. It's actually pretty good and rewards businesses that repatriate jobs while removing some of the tax rewards for moving operations overseas. What's the objection here?

The objection is some of "THEM" may benefit from it.

They do that very well on their own
To answer the question, they are blocking it because they do not want to give the present administration any credit for doing anything and thus keeping staunch close minded people like yourself happy
Which brings to mind why do you protect a group of people that cares nada about you? You do realize that the bohners, pelosis, reids, obamas, romneys can give a rats butt about any of us so why fight to defend everything that they do? Why not argue and issue instead of a party? Do you really agree with everything that they say?
