This is truly terrible: these two sisters have a little brother who has Down Syndrome. They, the little brother, the whole family will have to listen to the "R" word slur for years to come. They should have more sense than to indulge in insulting name-calling themselves. Sticks and stones may break their bones, but having to listen to insults and trash talk all day long is soul-destroying.
After watching an episode, I think that Willow and Bristol aren't idiots at all. They came across to me as being small town hicks, a species that's very familiar to me, and I'm one myself.
While I don't like their mother, I don't think the girls are any different than most small town kids; they are naive in comparison to kids who live in cities, much less socially sensitive, and have a lot of the enculturation that comes from living in small remote little towns.
Hicks are always a day late and a dollar short when it comes to a lot of things. Attitudes are slower to change, fashions are always a couple of years out of date, and fighting boredom is an essential part of life for teenagers in those little places, so kids always tend to get in the same kinds of kid trouble.
Bristol's show doesn't amount to much, but it's not much different than The Jersey Shore. Same knuckleheads, different places.
This guy is truly a slimeball piece of crap who needs to get a vasectomy. He's done nothing for that kid and now he's talking about how he wants custody??

How do you know what he has or hasn't done for his son?
