So in other words, in general, as I've repeated. Blue States pay their bills AND THEN SOME, by subsidizing Red States who, in general, don't pay their bills.
And Red Staters want to lecture Blue State voters about how to run the country?
Sure!
Once again, are you intentionally ignoring what is being said? All states generate a profit for the federal government. No state takes in more money than it earns. None.

Not arguing that point as recent tax cuts have done their damage.
But the generality still stands, Blue States pay more of their bills than Red States.
You're just pointing this fact out so Blue Staters will not look as bad.
When the budget bill is resolved. Red States will still remain the moralizing deadbeats they've always been.

You should rebel. Your tax dollars are being wasted down here. They're being used to buy political votes and influence. You'd be better off just keeping it and throwing a barbeque or some such.

At least one Northern liberal thinks it should, and he's written a book about it.
So here's a poll. Discuss.
Well for one, they can't, its illegal since the 14th amendment was ratified.
Secondly, we aren't a states rights country anymore, regardless of state. People like big, federal programs, but as Marcus Anthony once said "evil oft live after them, and the good is interred with the bones ".
And lastly, just because all of the electoral votes from my state may go to someone I don't support, it doesn't mean I don't love my state. It just means I want to change it.
The electoral college system has made it a us vs them.mentality, regardless of state. The reality is that the actual population is much more dynamic then a conservative liberal argument.

What? No you're mistaken. I have a higher than average income for Southlake, Texas. The city in which I reside. Google Southlake and Forbes to see how bad I have it. I benefit from right wing policies designed to protect a small sliver of rich white interests. Thing is, i'm not greedy, or selfish, or have this ego that because of my income that makes me a better person than others.
I'm just watching this 30 year car wreck in action, as my fellow middle class white males fall for right wing propaganda. I got news for you. You're cutting your own throats because you can't get past a brown person receiving a government benefit.
