If Israel was our neighbor I would want SAM's set up on our border as well.

That's good in principle but I would rather have Israel in existence than an Islamic Theocratic Tribal State anyday. I just wish that when push came to shove and the opportunity arose to end that bane on civilization they would do it and do it right and then we would not have to support their asses anymore.

So you would prefer a Jewish Tribal State over an Islamic Tribal State. I choose to let them deal with it.

Israle is not a 'Jewish' State. Given the opportunity to sujugate all cultures Israel would not force Judaism down peoples throat.

I am not taking sides. I don't have to decide which one would be better or worse. The U.S. needs to stay out of the middle east. It is nothing but tribalism.

Yes and I want the tribe Isi to win I take sides all the time because things are rarely ever neutral or equal - esp. geo-politics and religion.

Well if you want to take sides. Feel free to fly over there and join the Israeli army, but don't send any more of our troops or money to fight someone else's war.

I am not in charge - I don't send anyone anywhere - just observing the idiots and their global game.
Israel is the kind of neighbor that inspires nightmares. Trigger happy and dangerous. Worse still they have a victim complex. having Israel as a neighbor your thought process isn't if they will attack, its when they will attack. The fact that they have no issue with collatoral damage is another concern. So yeah I would have SAM's on our border as well as troops.
I wonder how many of the Egyptians in control right now remember the Six Day War and how embarrassed Egypt had to have been. They were sure they were ready for the Israelis, in every way, with all that highly regarded Russian armor and planes and they lost their butt so completely because the Israelis had much better soldiers. Sherman tanks left from WW II tore the best Soviet armor available all to hell. I wonder how many of those missiles have a chance of being fired with Egyptians doing the firing.
Israel has done many things behind Egypt's back too, let's not forget.
This isn't enough evidence to signal the end to that pact.
Yeah those sneaky Israelis sent their planes west over the Mediterranean and then they came back to Egypt from the west so the Egyptians were sure they were from the American fleet that was out there. They used bombs dropped from dive bombers that everybody knew would skip down the runways but those devilish buggers had rockets on the bombes that when fired drove the bombs into the runway for the explosions.
Why they even dropped some bombs with timing devices on them that were exploding later in the day when the Egyptians thought they would clean the "duds" up. Yep, those Israelis are sneaky alright.
