GOP lawmaker: Virtually impossible to get AIDS through heterosexual sex | The Raw Story

This after Akin's comments a few days earlier.
From the males perspective he is right. Women not so much.

Well then you're essentially wasting your vote. The president has very little effect on the economy.

It is all deflection out of fear - fear caused by Paul Ryan being named the GOP running mate - because that means that Romney is focusing the election on what it is about - the economy.

President Obama has failed to effect an economic recovery - we are in the Obama recession - unemployment is still high - the deficit has exploded under his administration - people lack confidence and seek hope - and change.

There is hope - we can get change: Vote Romney/Ryan in November.
Social issues have been in the forefront long before Romney selected a running mate.....where have you been? And, Republicans are the ones who have put them there.

And......BTW.....would you mind telling me how transvaginal ultrasounds, peronhood bills, banning abortion, etc. are going to save our economy?

Republicans must think they will..... after all.....they have been dedicating a lot of legislative time and money in the last few years pushing these social agendas.

So, please enlighten us......how are these things going to save our economy?

GOP lawmaker......

Why, heck, that's nothing!

A sitting president said if a blue pill does the same thing as a red pill and the blue pill is cheaper then you have to take the blue pill......even if the red pill is the only one that works for you

obama blue pill red pill - YouTube

The elected representatives have as much medical knowledge as they do financial acument. the difference is you'd hope the guy elected president would have some good advisors to help him sound intelligent.

Agreed, any elected pol who doesn't pass a medical or head of the treasury who cheats on his taxes should be removed.

Scared?!? I think you meant to say salivating! Part of the reason that Republicans did so well in 2010 is because they stayed away from their social agenda as much as possible. Back then it was "jobs, jobs, jobs." Fortunately for Democrats (and the country in general) the GOP couldn't stay in the closet.

We're glad that you came back out.

What sort of twisted bizarro world do you live in? The criticism then and now is about the GOP's focus on social issues.

Methinks the RW's learned about sex in a high school boys locker room and economics at the country club as caddies to the local bankers.

Every party has it's idiots and neither party is really that much different from the other.

We have a lot of threads from RWNJ's trying to portray dems by using their "crazies" too.

Like Ms. Mckinney...
Quote:
On September 28, 2008, at a press conference, McKinney announced that she had spoken with a constituent whose son was a National Guardsman. The constituent claimed her son had disposed of 5,000 bodies for the Department of Defense during the week of Hurricane Katrina. She further believed that there were credible reports that the bodies were prisoners who had all been crushed by tanks, shot in the head, painted blue, and dumped in a Louisiana swamp. McKinney said that the story had been corroborated by anonymous "insider" sources.[54][55]

No serious moderate is going to look at either Ms. Mckinney or the two republican idiots and draw serious inferences against the entire party.

In fact, it's mono-party attitudes like many of the posters in this thread, that allow these people to get into office.

McKinney's lunacy, even with Democratic Majorities has never become policy or deserving of serious consideration. Some how the worst ideas of the right actually do become policy.

I'm incline to agree with you. Both party's have their share of lunatics and idiots, one not better then the other. Different ending to the story that's it.

People on both sides, say the most lunatic sayings, and actually believe what it is they are saying.

None of us need a lesson in HIV, most of us, do know how it is contracted, whether your straight or gay.

Because one person says something, does not mean the whole party on a whole, agrees, that is definitely not the case, so get in out of your thick minds.
