When did so many people start walking around with a stick up their a** and have to find fault with every little thing that is clearly never meant to be political? If I moved to another country and complained about their non-American food offerings, I would be labeled as an arrogant rude American.
When does being overly PC turn you into a non PC person? Surely this qualifies....
Political correctness is so overboard here that they make questions like "Jose has 3 tacos and gives 2 tacos to Maria, how many tacos does Jose now have?", or "Juan buys 2 tortas that cost $1.75 each, how much change should he get from $5?"
What's more is they will give these same questions to white and black American kids.
Trick question. Everyone knows tortas are priced in Pesos.
Nah, you got that wrong. That's not liberal ideology, that's just stupid - and the two terms are not freely interchangeable.
Thank you.
Pathetic how everything has to be turned partisan, especially when we're not even aware of these peoples' political leanings. Not every Hispanic votes Dem, ya know.
We don't serve peanut butter and jelly "sandwiches" at our cafeteria. We use Smuckers' "Uncrustables". I guess those are REALLY a "white privilege".
Oh dang, I love those things! A co-worker recently made fun of me for that, asking why I don't just "make a PB&J sandwich myself & cut off the crust." Maybe I'm an elitist/racist too?

How does that = political correctness? I went to elementary school back in the '80s, and we had questions & pictures representing a variety of ethnic groups, foods, countries, etc. If you can prove these questions were written SOLELY for the purpose of being "multi-ethnic," I'll give you this one... but in my experiences, that's just called throwing in a little variety to keep things interesting.
And why wouldn't a black or white child be able to (or want to) answer that question? It's about the numbers, not the specific bread type being used - besides, I'm white, and had a burrito from the Taqueria just tonight. LOL
I'm Jewish, and I can't stand rye bread... also can't stand pumpernickel bread, pastrami, pickles, or lox for that matter. I'm a bad Jew.
