Since the very beginning of this story I have said that what actually happened in Libya MIGHT not have been avoidable. Perhaps a FULL Marine security detail might not have been able to stop terrorists with RPGs and mortars.

The trouble for Obama isn't in that it happened.

The trouble is with the COVER-UP.

These emails prove that Obama was very well aware that a terrorist group was responsible within two hours of the start of the attack.

Yet.....there was a conscious decision by the White House to try to convince the public that it was all due to the reaction to a film.

Who is to say that this incident would have even occurred under a Republican president?

You know what the difference would if there was a republican president? The democrats would being doing what the republicans are doing - demanding an investigation, and they would be right to make that demand.

I don't care who is sitting in the chair and what party they represent, even if it was the Pope himself - I want an investigation. This tragedy goes beyond party.

Very true. The details of what he said or meant in the Rose Garden are irrelevant. The message from the White House from Sept 11-28 was that this was a reaction to a video, not an attack by a terrorist group. They repeatedly lied to us in order to downplay a known terrorist attack (and security failure) on our embassy.

These things can be unavoidable sometimes, but to lie about what happened is the rub here.

It's called an investigation for a reason. A group taking credit for something doesn't mean anything unless there's proof. But continue with your outrage!11!!!1!!! while the adults realize that in the cases of foreign security issues, the American people aren't alerted to every. single. detail during an active investigation surrounded by a cloud of war.

It's totally amazing that liberals don't care that there were four Americans who died, including our Ambassador. It's also totally amazing that liberals don't care that Obama has constantly lied to Americans, and that Obama clearly instructed his administration (Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, etc.) to lie to Americans. Anyone who would vote for Obama must be stupid (literally).

Obama, Hillary, and Rice should resign immediately for the lies and deception to the American people.

Obama was very quick to accuse Romney of "shooting first and aiming later".

But at the same time we the American people AREN'T supposed to care that Obama "shot first and aimed later" when it came to blaming the attack on a video?

WHY was he so quick to try and blame a video?

None of this would be controversial at all if he'd have simply said that there is a possibility that an Al Qaeda branch in Libya was claiming responsibility and that may be true.

Even when it comes to the release of future documents and a conclusion is reached as a result of the hearings, which will take many months, there will still be documents that will be classified. So we will never know every.single.detail.
