We know, as Obama has said, "Words have meaning. He doesn't flip flop, he is evolving"
I really believe if he said the sky is green, many of you would believe him.

Yes.....it's just a "bump in the road" and "not-optimal" when 4 Americans are murdered by terrorists.

But whatever you do.....don't ever say Liberals don't care about attacks on America!

The lame stream media is in the tank for Obama.

But at the same time we the American people AREN'T supposed to care that Obama "shot first and aimed later" when it came to blaming the attack on a video?

WHY was he so quick to try and blame a video?

None of this would be controversial at all if he'd have simply said that there is a possibility that an Al Qaeda branch in Libya was claiming responsibility and that may be true.
Nooooo. What Obama should have told the public was that there was an attack on the consulate and it is under investigation, which will take time, and that to give any details or draw any conclusions at this time would be irresponsible. Full Stop!!!That would have been the truth. And all questions relating to more detail could have been answered with the same response. That should have been his standard response until he had solid information.

The trouble for Obama isn't in that it happened.

The trouble is with the COVER-UP.

These emails prove that Obama was very well aware that a terrorist group was responsible within two hours of the start of the attack.

Yet.....there was a conscious decision by the White House to try to convince the public that it was all due to the reaction to a film.
Have you read the accounts of the battle? We only had a handful of people armed with pistols, and the battle still took seven hours. There were times during the battle where our people were able to walk around inside the compound, and eventually get in a car, and drive out the gates of the consulate.

We had fighter aircraft less then an hour away, and they never were used. We sat on our hands for seven hours, and Obama went off to sleep for the night, so he could make a speech in the morning and go campaign some more.

I agree with you that there might have been MUCH more that could have been done to AVOID the murder of our Ambassador.

First of which might have been to actually LISTEN and RESPOND to the Ambassador's pleas for more security.

I think it's a NO-BRAINER that on the anniversary of 911, you would have beefed-up the security in such a volatile place. But that would mean admitting that everything idea you based your foreign policy on was wrong.

I was only stating there that it's always the COVER-UP that brings you down....honesty is always the best policy.

Default Why the President lied

Your points are right on the money. Anyone who asked why would the president and his entire administration lie??? Very simple their one claim to fame in 4 years is that he has defeated terrorism, and he can't make a speech without saying that he killed Osama Bin Laden. We all know that Mr President, but there are thousands of more just like him that hate America and would do ANYTHING to destroy us. Obama plain and simple didn't want to admit that this was an act of terror, and never thought it would get this kind of coverage. It is very clear that our intelligence and the white house ALL KNEW what was going on as it was happening. Our Ambassador and the other 3 Americans didn't have to die. Obama was more concerned about getting re-elected then the safety of our Americans in one of the most dangerous places in the world. This story needs to get National news, because unlike Watergate,[where no one died], this is truly a tragic story that OUR PRESIDENT LIED ABOUT. If he lied about this what else has he lied about????

To be fair it was reported that aircraft and military were ready to go in Italy and that Hillary asked the Libyan government for permission to use their airspace to fly in the help. If that is true, and it was denied, then Libya hampered any attempt to get help to the consulate. Anything that could have been done had to be run by the Libyan government. The Libyan government did not want a large military or weaponry presence there and limited what the US could have. Remember, when we are a guest in a country, the host country pretty much dictates what can and can't be done.

Also, if it is true that airspace permission was denied, I hope that the US plans to pull out of Libya once they are finished needing Libya to complete any investigations they need to do there.

He couldn't because he had claimed that AlQeda was on the decline. To admit it was them would raise the question about their suposid decline when in fact all data shows that they are on the RISE again.

Pure politics trumps all with Obama.
