Would you say when stopping someone's heart violently and against their will is murder?

If so then why do you agree with abortion? Its stops a beating heart.

Yep.Which is why I want to know 1. What people consider murder and 2.If you agree it stops a beating heart against ones will then how can you be for abortion...I bet someone is going to try and argue babies can't have a will or some such nonsense.

Murder is the unlawful taking of another human life. Since abortion is legal it cannot be construed as murder. The same is also true for self-defense.

Abortion is not self defense.

Not, but it isn't murder either, as so eloquently put for by Glitch.

Murder stops a beating heart...abortion does the same thing...NO ONE in their right mind can deny this.

The heart, by the way, doesn't require the brain, and the brain is the single most important part of what we consider a person. Everything else is just life-support for it.

Then what do you claim it is? Murder/Abortion both stop a beating heart...so they are the same.

Glitch provided an adequate answer for murder which I agree with.

Anytime a heart is stopped, should it be considered murder?
I can stop a heart without killing a person. Would you consider that murder? If this is your reasoning, we have to wage a war against time--it stops millions of hearts.
