Default Will Harry Reid work with Romney if he is elected?

Will Harry Reid work with Romney if he is elected?

For all the dems who have derided McConnell for his remark, taken out of context, about NOT working together for the betterment of the Country, Do you support Reid's comment?

Will you criticize him as you have Mitch and the repubs?

"Reid says Senate would snub Romney."

"Mitt Romney's fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his 'severely conservative' agenda is laughable," Reid said. [WaPost] [LATimes]"

Of course they would snub Romney, just like GOP snubbed Obama. Romney is an idiot thinking the Dems would work with him.

The partisan BS makes it impossible to get anything done in DC, and yet people keep voting for more of the same. Go figure.

So how do you break the cycle?

By voting for something other than the two parties, or for someone who is not into the partisan games. Like Ron Paul. Someone like him would be respected by both parties, but Romney or Obama are guaranteed to get zero respect from the opposing party.

Mr Reid should step down from his post if Governor Romney is elected, as he is apparently unable to do the job.

Last I checked, Ron Paul is part of the Republican party. If you get party money, you are in the party. I don't see that as a cycle breaker.

I asked the question because I have wondered the same thing myself.

My solution is you have to think long term. Start an organization with some basic principles that benefit individuals and country - no lobbyist money - whatever. When elections come - stick to the principles and state which candidates meet the criteria in an OBJECTIVE manner. Put it out there that we are looking for people to be a part of government who will govern according to these principles. Then you wait until support grows - sowing and reaping - until you believe enough support is there to make a dent in the election.

You can't do that too fast. You have to build trust. It has to be based on truth. It takes time and people committed to doing what's right. People need to see something they can put their faith in.

you have it backward pal, Obama snubbed the Republicans within his first week in office, with his "I won" comment, as the republicans were trying to work with him. Then the democrats shut the Republicans out completely with their closed door meetings.

Reid would not even work with Obama. Did Reid ever get a federal budget to Obama's desk for signature, even when the dems controlled EVERYTHING? No.
