The problem is our numbnuts President, his administration, his lies and deception regarding the whole incident. Not to mention he flew off to Vegas that morning after everyone was dead to toss off a few celebrity contributors for his campaign.
As it turns out, did it ever occur to you that they can't release all of the information because of intelligence issues. I hit on that on another thread.
The only ones who didn't notice were those not paying attention, having their blinders on far too tightly as usual and hearing only what they wanted to hear.
Oh yeah it was real ****ing secret. Someone didn't get that memo out to the terrorists.
An "open" secret.
From your article.

The fact that the CIA had a facility at the compound in Benghazi had been an open secret for weeks, although its central role was not fully acknowledged

Exactly where have these *******s been for the last 7 weeks? I heard about the CIA compound through a foreign media outlet a couple of days after the attack. And these people want us to swallow that our enemies didnt know about it because we are so good at keeping secrets?
Turns out that the CIA had a secret Compound in Benghazi with about 35 operatives. In fact, the two seals that were killed at the embassy were under contract with the CIA. The reason that you are just now hearing about this is because of the ongoing mission to try to attack and track terrorists. This is sensitive information.
Of course right wing tabloids like Faux News, don't care about national security they only care about getting rid of Obama.
Don't want to make assumptions like Faux news, but the CIA may have dropped the ball on this one.

You are missing the point, maybe it is my fault in not putting everything in the OP since nobody actually read the article. The point is that it seems that the CIA may have been the ones actually responsible for security at the embassy. Not 5 guys with no guns as frequently stated on Faux News. It completely destroys the narrative that the State department ignored threats and did not provide adequate security.

You mean that same CIA that Mr. Biden uses as an escape goat because of bad intel or the CIA that Mr. Biden uses to support his and Obama's strategy with Iran?
So all the lies that have been reported by the right concerning Obama not responding for help was not only false but an outright lie. So typical of the right.
