If we are going to have a Spanish-speaking state, then we should also have French-speaking.
We should take Quebec from Canada

They do teach English over there, you know.

Language isn't the issue. The problem is, if PR were admitted, it would be the poorest and most crime-ridden state in the union. I wouldn't mind seeing PR placed on a statehood track, during which those problems were addressed, and once certain standards were met regarding those issues, then statehood could become a possibility.

But as of right now, I don't think the island is ready.
