Think there is a slight chance we will get the real story. Right now i am doubting it. Just so many fishy circumstances about this whole case.

Or they can both tell the same story, that is not true.

I want the true facts about our 4 americans who were killed, and the real story on this mess.

You have zero foundation for your assertion that Petraeus "will likely be allowed not to testify" regarding Libya, or any other numerous matters. Congress can compel his testimony on whatever topic if they so choose.

While you are entitled to your conspiracy theories regarding Benghazi, your suppositions are not facts.

There is no evidence of any kind other than statements by those who are implicated that the affair occurred outside of military service.

Petraeus' personal suffering is not the issue here, nor his possible loss of his family. That is his personal problem, as any "normal" extramarital affair is.

If you have been reading the mainstream and also the reputable news sources, you would have read that there was indeed a very good chance that Petraeus would not be required to testify and that Morell was already in place to do so for him. I did not make that up. The headlines in all sources stated that Petraeus "AGREES" to testify; this implies a choice, does it not?

I have no conspiracy theories, just the interest, like so many others, in cutting through the BS that Washington spins on covert operations in the name of "national security." These spins and the people who believe them keep the truth of any huge covert operation "sealed" years beyond the possibility of anything ever being done about them. Conspiracy theories always arise from both the Left and the Right when a country believes that the truth is not being told, a truth on which participation in Democracy depends.

The sex-scandal stuff has nothing directly to do with Obama, and is irrelevant fluff being used to divert attention from the real questions, which are:

* Four Americans were murdered at the Benghazi consulate on Sept. 11. Why did Obama keep saying the attack was due to a video when he knew almost immediately it wasn't?

* What was the reason terrorists planned and carried out the attack as they did?

* With what "well-placed officials" did Fox news confirm the rumor that the CIA had been illegally taking Libyans prisoner, and holding them in the Benghazi compound near the consulate?

* If prisoners were being held, was the President aware of it? If not, why not?

What bothers me more is that Petraeus and Allen both wrote letters to a judge advocating for Jill Kelly's sister to get custody back of her child. A mother whom the judge had characterized as having serious problems telling the truth. It makes me question Petraeus's and Allen's judgment and priorities.

He resigned from the military and became D/CIA September 2011 - the affair started sometime in October. There was no misconduct while he was in uniform - at least to anyone's knowledge nor has it been proven otherwise.

Oh, Lord!!!! What does your crystal ball tell you about that? The park is a dumping ground for mistresses? Petreaus was planning on killing Broadwell, she fled, dropped her license so people would find it when they were searching for her body and it would lead back to Petraus?

Get a life.

How long has this story been out, and yet we are learning more, and learning it more quickly then we did about the Benghazi attack.

The only consistent theme that is running here, is that once again, 0bama is claiming that he was completely clueless, utterly ignorant, out of the loop, ignored, betrayed and made to look like a mushroom, he was the last person to know. Who knew?
That would be Holder who knew and came to the rescue and was "protecting" Obama.

BTW, Petreaus will be testifying voluntarily.

Do you read your own links? Clearly he states "I think" as in "this is my theory" as in "in my opinion". You seem to suffer from a painful overdose of Viagra.
