Obama could EASILY be well conquered in debate, on crucial issue priorities by human being's a full...2500 years ago... do the lefties understand...hello ...hello...are things sinking in yet..?
We should listen to the Circle Jerks..............
"Soup lines
Free loaves of bread
5lb blocks of cheese
Bags of groceries
Social security
Has run out on you and me
We do whatever we can
Gotta duck when the **** hits the fan"
My students come from all over Monmouth Co and not a single town.
NJ. Where you have a Republican Governor who had the good sense to order ODD/EVEN a full week before NY's idiot Cuomo. I know, shame on LIers and those in Westchester who drive to work, right? They should have just taken the train. Oh wait, the LIRR was out for over 2 weeks. Never mind. They should just lose two weeks pay because gas stations aren't required to have back-up generators. It was more important to idiot Bloomberg to want to use generators for the NYC Marathon, which he only cancelled after tremendous outrage from the public.
It is now 60 days32 days since the storm hit. There are still huge piles of trees on every roadside, some people STILL don't have power and in my case, the main road into our village was washed out and no work has begun to repair it. Our little local businesses are totally screwed.
But then again, we're mostly white people. Why should a black President care about us?
I work for a civil engineering firm and we are going to do some of the restoration work. The counties have 60 days from the date of the storm to submit their necessary repair work and costs to FEMA. 60 days.
THEN the work can begin.
Please don't talk about things you have no knowledge of.
I live in Mercer County, which was not too badly hit, and we STILL have trees down and branches piled up waiting to be picked up. Counties and Townships do that work, NOT FEMA.
Do you know, in New Jersey alone, 100,000 trees were knocked down.
You are correct, 32 days ago. It FEELS like 60 days. Mea Culpa. I have friends in Island Park who cannot report the same "miraculous" FEMA response you are reporting and it certainly appears that the folks in Staten Island are not happy with a FEMA settlement of $150.
That was just one woman in the video claiming she only received $150 from FEMA, that certainly has not been the case in Long Beach and other places. Need some more details on that one.
Especially during the holiday season.
I could mention another hurricane where LA residents were left to fend for themselves too, but I won't mention it because it brings painful memories to some.

My buddy owned a business that got whacked from the flood last year, he had no insurance because at the time he wasn't even in what they considered a flood zone. This is about $100K in merchandise:
There's $10K in drill bits sitting in that pile alone. In any event his house is on top of the store. Guy across the street got like $6 or $7K from FEMA to fix his basement which in reality was never worth that. My buddy asked for few thousand just for the furnace that was damaged that heated his house....... denied becsue they said it was his business. More red tape.......
